Villa Busovina

We have spent longer weekend at Villa Busovina ... Booking via e-mail was without any problem. We have decided for Superior Room, which has direct sea view and side view on the city walls. Rastko picked us by his car at the stop on the busroute from Dubrovnik Airport, which was very convenient because of midnight time. Later we found out, that the stop is not more than 5 min from the house, so next time we will sure come directly. My wife and I stayed at Villa Busovina for 4 nights this past July and were blown away by the accommodations. If you are going to Dubrovnik, then you must stay here. The sobe sits atop a hill over-looking Old Town providing majestic views in a peaceful setting. It is a mere 5-minute walk from Old Town. Housed in a 600 year old villa, the recently renovated accommodations (so recent that they smell new) are comfortable, impeccable and beautiful. This villa is superb! The owners of the villa are exceptionally lovely and go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant stay, without being intrusive.The rooms were very clean and fully air conditioned (which is a necessity when you are staying in Dubrovnik in August!) and were well maintained. We booked a room with a garden view, though you could also see the sea from where we stayed. This small property is in an excellent location and within a short walk of the old town at Dubrovnik. The rooms are all roomy and the facilities are excellent. The views from the rooms are second to none. The owners live on the property and speak English and bend over backwards to be of assistance. I recommend this property for value, facilities and location.
