Hotel Anavadia

I stayed here the first week in July with my teenage sons. Modern hotel, extremely clean, the staff were all friendly and attentive. We had a family room with air conditioning which consisted of a large living room with corner sofa (used as extra bed) fridge, dining table and flat screen TV, bedroom with two singles and flat screen tv, large bathroom had walk in shower and hydro massage bath, each room had patio doors leading onto the terrace with views over the Tsambiki mountains - lovely. We stayed for two weeks with our 4 and 6 year old children. We all had a great time- the pool was quite big and great for learning to swim. The hotel only has 40 rooms so it is a small complex which meant the children could wander around in a safe environment. We had a family room which had two bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Very comfortable! The hotel is a short walk from the town and there is a free bus to the beach. It is a good base to explore Rhodes and visit the many beautiful beaches. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We have just come to the end of our stay here and it has been brilliant. The staff are friendly as a small hotel and you feel you get a more personnal touch. Flora who is front of house is a personal favourite and my children love her. A particular high with the children in mind is the afternoon all you can eat ice cream and mini biscuits. We booked the Anavadia Hotel because we wanted a hotel and resort that looked good and is located in a quiet area. We were very happy when we arrived in the early hours of the morning, to a lovely looking water walkway into the hotel, a nice reception, and a friendly efficient checkin. We stayed at the Anavadia from 23rd-30th June The hotel looks great when you arrive, very boutique and new, we were met with a friendly welcome on arrival, and given our room, we were asked if we would stay in a family room over night as a room with a balcony , which we had asked for was unavailable until the next night. we were happy to do this, and we were rewarded with a massive room. Myself & my boyfriend have just returned from a 2 weeks holiday at the Anavadia and it was a fantastic hotel! Reading the previous reviews I don't know how people could complain about music been too loud because it wasn't, it was a lovely relaxing holiday.... but each to their own! The only thing that we got bored of was the food it was similar things each day, but since the hotel has only 40 rooms what can you really expect! We booked a last minute break to celebrate my husband's birthday. Having read a few reviews immediately prior to our departure, we were expecting a quiet relaxing break - unfortunately it did not quite live up to it. There seemed to be a need to pump out 'thumpety thumpety' music day + night around the pool area which was not exactly conducive to relaxation - I did on one occasion request the bar-man to play something a bit more melodic and it did improve. We have just returned from a weeks holiday in the Anavadia. We had a fantastic time in luxurious rooms with staff who couldn't do enough to help you. The food within the hotel was excellent, and there are plenty of tavernas nearby for those who which to eat out. Our only regret was that we didn't book for 2 weeks!

My wife and I booked this holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were due to stay at the Rodos Star in Afandou but due to it not opening were asked to transfer to the Anavadia. How lucky were we!!! The hotel has recently been renovated and the pictures on the web site really do represent what it is like which made a pleasant change. There are only 40 rooms which makes it sound small but actually it made a very spacious hotel. My boyfriend and I have Just returned from a lovely weeks holiday at the Anavadia Hotel. I must admit we were a little dubious about going as you can see there are no reviews on this hotel but the reason is we were literally the first people to use it. It was the very start of the season and there were about 12 people there. HOTEL The hotel is lovely.
