I stayed at the Eco Club from 27th may 2010 to 3rd June 2010. The hotel is top notch. Fantastic for adults and kids. All the staff can’t do enough to help you, and of course they are all multi lingual. The whole place is very European (outside of England) there is a lot of Germans, Russians, Bulgarians, Belgians, and a minority of Brits... But don't let this put you off... My husband and myself read the reviews about this hotel and decided if the worse thing was a hard bed then we would be fine. We arrived on Sunday 31st May with my 9 year old step son. The check in process was extremely smooth and they were very curtious. We were shown to our room which was spotlessly clean with a balacony that overlooked the gardens. Firstly, this resort is advertised as Side, but it is actually situated in a place called Sorgun on the outskirts of Mangevat. That said, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. The temperature was very warm when we visited late May/early June so we didn;t venture out of the local area - and to be honest, as we were only staying for one week everything we needed was on the complex. The hotel, staff , facilities, and grounds are briliiant and immaculately maintained. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Anybody who complains about this hotel should really stay at home- as a previous reviewer mentioned, dont go here if you want to watch eastenders while eating your full english. The Otium Eco Club is fantastic my husband and i really loved this Hotel and the service it provides.,the staff were very friendly and they worked very hard to ensure you have a brilliant relaxing yet fun packed holiday. After reading previous reviews we were worried about this booking but the hotel has been recently refurbished to a 5* standard and it deserves it. Excellent standard of service - smiley service team in yellow tops are always available to help. Entertainment team (known as Animation) are good, dedicated kids area, wonderful spa and wellness centre and good food - plenty of it! We arrived in the evening and was greated well by reception staff will arrival drinks. The porter helped us with our cases and was very helpful showing us our room facilities. The room was stunning very clean and plenty of pillows that you dont normally get in other places. The beds are new and hard which were great for our backs. British, family of 5 with 3 teenage boys with many experiences of IA across the Med and Caribbean. . We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel for 3 weeks. The hotel has been refurbished sometime last year and has just been opened up to British travelers (via Thomas Cook only I think). The hotel is nice as you can easily control your kids whereabouts due to smallness of area. The lake beside the hotel is nice as well, you can take a bike for free to the beach. The sea is very wavy and not so clear but ok. First of all, I apologise because English is not my mother tongue. When we arrived, the staff at the reception was nice. However, there were a lot of disapointing things during our 14-days stay. First of all, the room. The problem was not the cleanliness, it was cleaned every day. However, the bed was so hard that I could feel the pieces of metal in my back, which made that I slept badly.
