Catsby Hotel Reviews
" I disagree with most of what has been... "
Submitted By: Mr D Maton
I disagree with most of what has been written previously about the Castby Hotel, I really enjoyed my stay there.
Ok the pillows were slightly rubbish and the walls very thin but if you want to sleep from 10 o'clock onwards then maybe don’t book a hotel in the centre of a busy town.
I think they've noted your comments because when I went there were no chips ok plenty of pizza and other junk food but also some other nice meals. Overall it was an awesome hotel; nightlife, atmosphere and the slopes were fantastic. I spent all of my time there so maybe I’m not in any position to comment, but I did spend most evenings in the bar which was good fun.
The bar staff were very friendly and talkative.

" What a shame, great location and nice... "
Submitted By: Mr D Lowery
What a shame, great location and nice enough staff, but then we spent a lot of money in the bar, but what about the noise noise noise.
I have never known anything like it in all my travelling days.
Wafer thin walls, tiny beds, tinier pillows, basic basic basic.
I'm no cheap skate but if I knew just how poorly I would feel after a week of no sleep, I would never have gone here. You get what you pay for!
Think long and hard about how much you value your privacy before you book in here.

" This is probably the worst seven... "
Submitted By: Mr D Sellen
This is probably the worst seven nights "sleep" I have ever had.
The only way of getting any where near a good nights sleep is to get yourself into an alcohol induced coma.
The beds are as wide as a cot and the noise in and around the hotel is at times, quite scary.
I left my electric razor in the shower on the last morning and with in an hour and a half of vacating my room it had mysteriously disappeared, so keep your things locked in your bags.

" Upon arrival there was a bust up... "
Submitted By: Mr D Smith
Upon arrival there was a bust up between a guest and a member of the staff, nice start!! The only thing the bar staff was interested in was watching the football on TV. Room was ok, a shame they hired Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles as cleaners!
The food was very, very poor! Unless you like chips! Chips with every meal, no vegetables at all, all week, one lady bought her own food to give to the cook to cook vegetables for her family...You spend all that money getting there and all they want to do is squeeze every last penny out of you..
The skiing is as always fantastic, our 4th trip to Andorra and its great. Last point, who is the moron from the Catsby bar that tips out the empty beer bottles into a skip across the road every night? Thanks for waking us all up at 2 in the morning, a little bit of consideration goes a long way, but then British are British no matter where you go!

We got exactly what we paid for, a cracking week of fun, laughter and of course beer. The staff were top draw all week for us and we have no complaints -oh, the pillows, that aside - best holiday I’ve had. If you want a quiet tranquil holiday when you are in bed by 9pm then please look elsewhere and leave the partying to others to enjoy.
