Booked very last minute a week at the Cristina with the kids whilst the wifey away in Venezuela. Just what the doctor ordered the apartments are a good size, clean and don't listen to anyone who moans, all the facilities you need are there. Good maid service with daily changes of linen. Entertainment team excellent even though season closing out, not too loud not to little.
Kids are 17, 16 and 13 and enjoyeed. Very friendly atmosphere witrh all staying at the time. Beach and centre a short walk ideal.
If you want Brit food go to Weather Spoons, you'll not find friendlier service anywhere.
Thomas Cook rep was invisible didn't wvewn turn up for the welcome but who cares, the Thomson rep on site was very helpful to all so go Thomson. The boats good buses really cheap if you want to go up the coast. Best food and a must for me is the italian restaurant Sole Mio in Cala Ratjada, friendly and you would not believe how gpood the seafood is!!!!!!! We'll be back thanks..........
GOSH where do you start!!!!!...

GOSH where do you start!!!!! Absolutely fantastic, could not have wished for a better holiday.
We went to Cala Millor for my husbands 40th birthday as a surprise and the whole family enjoyed every second.
The apartments were very clean, everyone was very helpful and the entertainment was fantastic. The entertainment was aimed at all ages, our family consists of 2 adults, 17, 14 and 10 year old and was thorougly enjoyed all round.
We ate out all the time and the local resturants were fab although a little over priced. The best place we ate was 'La Sangria' very good value for the money and had a huge variety of dishes on the menu to suit all. If you are looking for something for a special ocassion we would highly recommend 'El Pescador' in cala bona and also 'Xaloc' which are both situated overlooking the harbour.
We would certainly not recommend the 'Rose and Crown' for some reason this place has previously been recommended, the staff were very rude and we were ignored on sevceral occasions.
Cala Millor and its nieghboring resorts still hold thier traditional spanish looks and not the commercial looks of some other resorts on the island.
The 'Pirate adventure' was amazing we sat in the main deck, if we had of purchased the more exspensive ticket for the quarter deck we would have felt a little cheated. "A MUST DO".
We stopped for 7 nights and stayed local had we have stayed any longer we would have needed to hire a car to traval further a field, public transport is not very good and although taxi are cheap enough they all add up over time.

I went with two kids and two adults and everyone enjoyed it, there was stuff for everyone to do and the staff were really friendly.
There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away which all serve food that you would be used to eating back at home. The restaurant at the complex also serves nice food so if you wanted to stay somewhere closer to eat then this is perfect. Two of the bars that stood out were cheers bar and weather spoons, both of the bars sell nice english food and the owners were both very welcoming and there were also games consoles for the kids to play on.
The apartment was clean and big enough for the five of us and the entertainment in the evening was great, but is loud until late at night which some people found a problem(not us).
Overall the holiday was perfect, except for being woken up by cockerels at 6 o'clock in the morning but we will be returning next year.

We enjoyed calla millor itself, really friendly people. The Texas steak house is excellent for food and a lovely view on the sea front. The appartement was clean but very noisy, unfortunately we were rigyht next to the bar and entertainment. Not funny when you have an early morning flight and trying to get some sleep before going. It is geared for familes with children aged 10 and under, and you must have good vocals as you'll be shoutiing, singing and dancing a lot with the continuous games. It's a well packed entertainment only holiday so if you need chill time I 'd sleep on the beach. You would also get a swim in the sea as the pool is always very busy with water polo and lots of sad people getting up at crack of dawn for a sun bed. (sorry but i had to say that)I am now back home and looking forward to sleep.

Just returned from the Cristina We had a fabulous time. All the staff where so helpful and friendly helping to make this a most memorable holiday . Hilary the Thomas Cook rep deserves a special mention she is the best and most cheerful helpful rep that we have ever come across .
The accomodation is kept very well maintained with a good maid service, and general maintainace staff are busy around the complex.
There are also good facilities for those who have a late flight as there are full bathroom facilities to enable guests to shower and change before their journey home

Just returned from 11 nights at the Cristina Apartments. Had good time. Very clean, cleaner 5 days per week and linen and towels changed every couple of days. The airconditioning in the evening was fab, no extra charge. Bit of a hike out of town but nothing to difficult. Luckily we had an apartment at the far end of the complex, very noisy otherwise. Only pain was getting a sun bed, sure some people set their alarm at6 to get a towel out, but who wants to be up that eatly on holiday. Lots of nice places to eat, though would avoid Texas steak house. Wouldnt say its the best resort I've every been to, very german orientated but we had a good time. You get what you pay for with the Cristina as it is the cheaper end of the market, but good value I would say.

Room spacious, well-equipped and clean. Apartments spot-on. However, entertainment is geared towards families with children under the age of 12. I would recommend room away from the poolside/bar area (which is what we had) as it could be a bit noisy. Weather fantastic. A bit of a walk from the town/sea front. Beautiful sea-front, very clean. Most bars tend to be English, with one or two German. I would recommend A & J Weather Spoons for the food (especially Sunday Dinner - fantastic), also very friendly hosts and Rose & Crown later in the evening for the entertainment. (Both family friendly).

Have just returned to the UK from the Cristina Apartments and will never go back there again!
We arrived to find we had been allocated a tiny apartment with a kitchen, dining area, sitting area that you couldn't swing a cat in and we were a family of 5. The toaster was prehistoric; we had to rent a kettle 10euros a week!
The entertainment was non existent and the entertainment board is just there for show, it’s not followed and the majority of the staff were aloof, rude and didn't try to make our stay in any way enjoyable.
The beds are really hard and you have to pay to use the air conditioning which we had to use because you have to shut your windows to stop the noise from the bar. The area where our accommodation was is residential, the pavements are littered with dog mess and all broken so be careful not to stumble.
In the town where you have to go to find any light relief, in places, looks like a modern day ghetto, the buildings are dirty and grimy. The beach is lovely and clean and if you want good food and kids entertainment go to Cheers. Kev, the owner is fantastic, he is so friendly and sorted the kids with PS2s, free internet, our daughter was on MSN all the time and our youngest was able to choose from the little cinema. He's also a fantastic cook and his meals were the best. Stephan and all the staff there made our holiday as bearable as it could be and if it wasn't for Kev we would have got early flights home.
All the parents who were with us at the Cristina Apartments were all fed up and complaining, which brought us quite close, during our stay there. We actually celebrated coming home. Not what you should be doing when you have saved up all year for a relaxing holiday where your kids will be entertained, giving you time to chill out! Absolutely gutted and glad we're home!

Just returned from Cristina Apartments, Cala Millor and we had a great time.
The apartments were quite basic but had what we needed considering we were on holiday and eating out 4 nights out of 7. We were a bit disappointed that there were no bedside tables or lights, which meant that if you wanted to read in bed you had to have the main light on.
The apartments were quite clean mainly due to a mop, bucket and brush already being placed in the apartment, cleaner was friendly enough but I think they decide what they want to clean and not have a routine, towels weren't changed if they were out on the rope on the balcony to dry off.
The entertainment wasn't great, especially if you don't have kids. The Liam Live show was a great night (tribute to Robbie Williams) but other entertainment was not consistent.
Apartments were a bit out of the way but not too far to get to the beach, bars and restaurants but if you did have toddlers and didn't take a pram, prepare to carry them up the hill!
Overall, the apartments weren't too bad and the holiday was great.
Good clean and spacious, well...

Good clean and spacious, well fitted out apartments, with friendly staff.
Downside - good hike into town, downhill going, but uphill coming back. Only go if you love kids, lots of 'em. Could not get into the pool for inflatables, footballs etc. Noisy teens around pool at night, jumping in at 2am and not checked by the staff.
Cala Millor and Cala Bona, brilliant, if you want a noisy karaoke filled night Cala Millor, or quiet romantic meals by the harbour Cala Bona - best of both worlds.
Wish we knew before we got there - that there is an express bus to Palma which is cheap, unlike our tour rep who told us that the only bus took 2-3 hours and so we paid out for the company's expensive trip, which only left us 3.5 hours in Palma, and a trip to a dire overpriced factory shop on the way back.
