It was my first time in Istanbul Art City's staff made our stay enjoyable. Hotel is very clean and new, location is perfect. everthing is walking distance

It was excellent hotel, very helpfull staf, room was quite and perfect view. It was small hotel but I really love it. breakfast was nice and also location is perfect we went Blue Mosque just 5 min walking. Art City's staff extremely helpfull. they are alwasy smiling. I recommend you to stay Art City.

If you are planning to see sights around the Sultanahmet Area of Istanbul like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Islamic museum, Cistern etc....this hotel is certainly a good option. The Staff are friendly and helppful and never forget that you are their guest. The rooms have airconditioning that works well to cool when it is warm and there are heaters for when its cold even in the bathrooms. Excellent stay from anu_ellen
This was our first visit to Istanbul, but definitely not the last. Art City Hotel was a really good choice as it is located just 5 minutes walk from the big historical sights and the Sultanahmet park. Everything was excellent in the hotel, the breakfast, the room and the service. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great design hotel from Miuca
Hard to find by taxi drivers, had to make a few circles to find it. But a true hidden gem. Everything was great. The rooms was a bit smaller but very charming with a fantastic view. Clean, with a good double bed. Excellent staff. Good breakfast, tends to be boring after few days, because it's always the same, but nevertheless fresh and good food. Back alley location, had to walk up and down to get to main locations.We enjoyed it.

Not overly impressed from tripandtrot
We stayed in this hotel for only one night but were not impressed with the service we received. We could not operate the AC as there was not a remote in our room and the staff insisted on coming into our room to turn it on for us in the middle of the night when the kids were sleeping. They didn't want to leave hte remote control. Also, when we left the hotel, they booked a hotel taxi for us without asking us and when we got into it, the driver admitted that the rate was twice as high as a regular taxi. A hidden gem from keralite49
Had the opportunity to stay in this hotel on 23rd, May 2010. No frills hotel. Quite clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Would like to express my thanks to Mr Mahmood at the reception for having taken special interest in seeking clarifications from our tour operator, who is based in Antalya.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent location from sofaarten
This nice little hotel is located in the center of Sultanahmet, very close to the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque (although it takes some time to find the shortest route there, because of the complicated street maze). The staff are very friendly and helpful and have lots of tips for people who are not familiar with Istanbul. Boutique Hotel Artcity Istanbul from Falco64
Great location, it is only a short distance to the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya (and practically anything else - we walked everywhere, to Grand Bazaar, and even Suleymaniye Camii.. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. All the staff are exceptionally friendly helpful and well informed. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Confusing Location from beamer69
On arrival we were told our superior room was not available and were given a room on the top floor which had no wardrobe or tv in it. We were however moved the next day to a different room but were disappointed that the so called superior room was so much smaller than the one we had just vacated. It was very noisey ie thin walls, call to prayer. Our biggest problem was that no taxi driver had any clue where the hotel was, each time we returned to the hotel they had to ask directions. we learnt that the hotel is new which no comment found in the tripadvisor as support but the budget & the location has attracted us to choose in our trip. however, we think we got the right choice. it's small & located in the inner street of sultanahmet but it's just 10-min walk to the well-known sultanahmet & becasue of the location we can easily reached other scenic spots on foot. we got the room with a fantastic view overseeing the harbour unfortunately we don't have time to enjoy cos we only have one nite here. the hotel... more

Modern Hotel in Old Location from JaneGRSouthsea
Superior Room had great view over the Bosphorus. Hilly Location so may not suit everyone. Within walking distance of major sights and transport systems. Quiet location with small interesting local shops. As a tourist you feel that you are in the heart of Turkish life not in the midst of tourism. Many good eating places close by. A perfect place with a lovely friendly atmosphere.
