I was travelling with my girlfriend to Koh Samui via Bangkok for a 2 week break. We did not make any reservations at all before we got there. This is something I usually never do, but my brother and a very good friend told me that you can always find accomodation one way or... more

Great relaxing getaway with lots of potential AND a great value.
from Adventravler
We stayed here for a 3 nights in a Garden Suite Villa with a small private plunge pool. The property is a long narrow lot that is on the beach but with only 33 units, everything is close. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is large (not airconditioned) with two doors; one leading to a small deck and the other directly into the plunge pool (watch out if you have small children! it is big drop from the bathroom into the pool). A challenge is that there was no ladder in the plunge pool so getting in and out is awkward....

For a total recharge of your body, this hotel is the one!

I was looking for somewhere to go for a totally relaxing holiday, consisting of rest, reading and peace and quiet. I found this hotel while surfing the web and it seemed just what I was looking for. I booked right away then booked the plane seperately. I was picked up from the airport in the North by the hotel driver (it takes about one hour to travel down to the south because all the roads are small). When I arrived I was given my room (Number 202, which was a Deluxe sea view apartment). The rooms are large and beautifully decorated,...

Paradise found !
from weg500
We stayed at elements for one very relaxing week. We couldn't believe our luck at finding this quiet retreat where the noise of continually running water is the loudest sound you can hear. Elements is situated in the quiet South of Island Samui. This is well away from the discos, girl bars and traffic noise that are the blight of the north. We wanted something where we could wind down and then go back to work in London relaxed and tanned. Our room was a standard. But it was huge! Bigger than our apartment. And it had every extra...

Went looking for something amazing, found it here...

Year in, year out, my friends travel to Koh Samui. Year in , year out they told me how special it is. So this year my girlfriend and i decided to give it a try. After talking to my friends, who are all party animals, Chaweng was the obvious choice in their opinions. So i thought we would give it a go. Now me and my girlfriend being a little bit more laid back, got a shock when arriving in Chaweng on our first evening(We came in on a evening flight, so drove through Chaweng at 10pm). Just people and loud music wherever you look. We checked in...

Perfect didn't want to leave
from ukfamily4
The hotel is new, recently opened and is in a lovely location, reminding us of the Koh Samui we visited years ago. The accomodation is fantastic, we stayed in the sea view rooms and were very impressed with the quality and attention to detail shown. We ate all our meals in the restaurant and can say that everything we ate was superb, try the smoothies you won't find better. The staff are very friendly, service is second to none, we can't wait to go back our favourite place in koh Samui, read all the reviews they are not wrong.
When two roads diverge on Samui - you should definitely take the one less travelled
from tonypappa
I've been to Samui on many occasions and my favorite part is getting on my motor bike and seeking out new & interesting places. That is how we came across this boutique resort on the southern edge of the island. As some of the first guests to this brand new resort, my friends and I enjoyed the solitude, the design, the fun staff & especially, the refreshing swimming pool. It is a new resort and, in fact, not entirely finished yet (the only downside). My friends were very pleased to leave their crowded Chaweng resort and all of the...

Stunning !

If you want to go to heaven before you die and go to heaven then we suggest a fortnight at Elements. We were pampered and preened and rubbed and fed and came away feeling that another fortnight might be required next year. This friendly little gem delivers on all fronts. This is a hotel where the staff care. We met both Stephen and Peter, the owner directors, and were infected with their great enthusiasm for the Island and the hotel. Miron - the chef - has won awards all over Europe and he seemed to know exactly what we wanted to eat every...

Paradise in paradise!!!
from gilligilligilli
After having arrived in Bangkok, idecided to meet up with some friends who were on the island of Koh Samui. It was a very short flight to get there, but the air-conditioning on board took me by surprise and caught a small cold for the rest of the evening. I met up with my friends who were staying on Lamai Beach which was nice place, but I'm glad we decided not to stay there too long, because i didn't want to stay the rest of my holidays in Irish and Australian bars. So we all decided that the south part of the island was far calmer than the...

Visited Samui with some friends. We didnt like the North as two developed so on a chance booked this place. Its the southern most point of the island and just opened. Fantastic get away. Nice size rooms, proper swimming pool-no chlorine(never seen that before) and good food. Very friendly staff particularly Bom he knew everything about the island The beauty of the area is fantastic and the advantage of being on that side of the island is waterfalls, nature, mountains and not hotel hotel hotel. Loved the place we,ll go again for...
