We had a fantastic relaxing holiday at the Elounda sunrise apartments. The one bedroom apartment we had was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The view from the apartments is to die for - looking over the aquamarine sea with the village of Elounda to the left - absolutely fantastic. It was also in the shade in the afternoon which was very welcome. what can i say. the apartments were amazing. me and my partner stayed in the newly built buildings. the view was beautiful to see and we had the privilage to have have two ballconys. apartment and bar its self were kept very clean and the staff were willing to help if there was a problem. the bar beside the pool was very freindly rhonda who works there couldnt be any more helpful and freindly towards us always presented a smile and a helping hand. the two brothers who own the apartments were very freindly and welcoming. they showed us to our... more

Just returned from a 3 week stay at the Elounda Sunrise apartments in Elounda. What a great complex it is now. There is a brand new extension at the back and the apartments are very modern and spacious. There is even astro turn between the two buildings with sun beds very impressive. Dimos, Giannis and Rhonda are only to eager to help in any way and the BBQ on a Sunday evening is brilliant with far more food that you can eat. We had a fantastic time and thank everyone concerned for making our stay a very enjoyable one.

The accomodation is at least as good as you will get for this type. Location is literally perfect, close enough but not too close to the centre of town and its an easy level walk into town and back. As ever, an establishments main asset or liability is its staff and the sunrise has a trick up its sleeve as they are headed by Dimos and Giannis who make everything so relaxed when appropriate but also know when to liven things up a little. The apartments are in a great location on the waters edge, looking out to sea towards the mountains and the island of Spinalonga. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the pool and bar area are well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Rhonda makes the best frappe ever (closely followed by the delicious Greek salad) and is welcoming and friendly to everyone. The beach is close at hand, gently shelving into the clear water. This is the second time we have stayed at the Elounda Sunrise. This year we were in the new accommodation block at the back. The room was spacious and cool, if a little sparsely furnished. We could have done with a mirror in the main room and the wardrobe was small for a room with three beds. Having said that, the accommodation was spotlessly clean, the towels and sheets changed very regularly and the general services excellent. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Elounda Sunrise is in the most perfect spot for us, very short walking distance to gently shelving beach, which was great for me (Mrs) as I have walking difficulties. Dimos , Yiannis and Rhonda could not have been more helpful and friendly and the cleaning staff always greeted us with a smile every day, There are plenty of lovely tavernas to while away the beautiful evening, but not rowdy at all, just wonderful. Lovely appartments no complaints at all. The Elounda Sunrise over look the beautiful bay and on a clear day (which is most of the time) you can see Spinalonga. We had a one bedroomed appartment which was very large and well equipped, the linen was changed regularly and room kept clean daily. The owners Dimos,Giannis and Rhonda were very friendly nothing was to much trouble for them, if you needed anything you just had to ask.(great pool bar open late!!!) The service we experienced was excellent, our rooms were clean and we appreciated fresh linen supplies during our stay, we could not fault the location or amenities. We loved the relaxed atmosphere of the location and the friendly attitude of all the staff. Will certainly return.
