me my partner and children have just returned from two weeks holiday in the los delfines hotel. we stayed all inclusive and we can honestly say we are booking up for next year as we all had a fab time. the entertainment team were excellent, very friendly and entertained us all day and night. the food was good with choices to suit everyone. the hotel was clean and all staff were friendly and polite. we are going to miss all our new friends but hopefully will see them all again next year.

Me and my family went there in august 2009 and we thought it was really good it was only a few minutes away from the shops so that was brilliant but the apartments didn't have air-conditioning so that was a disappointment but the staff was really nice and lent us 4 fans the staff were really jolly and polite the entertainment was really good epecially for younger kids But it was quite noisy but by midnight everything was quiet and you was sure to get a good night sleep I was recommend this hotel because me and my family had a brilliant time

Myself and my family have just come back from a weeks holiday at the Los Delfines and what can i say? We stayed in the apartments which were basic but very clean, and fresh towels and bedding every other day (or everyday if was required). We went all inclusive and found the food was great with a good variety (but found we ate too much as too much choice). The entertainment was really good for both adults and children all day everyday (except fridays as day off). Drinks available from 9am - 12pm, soft drinks and alcahol. Both pools were great too. All in all we had a fab holiday and couldnt fault a thing. Would definately go back again.

My fella and I stayed in this Hotel till the 30th of May. 2011. You cant fault it. The only critism is the lift is quite noisy. The food was not bad at all. Weve had a lot worse in the past. The rooms were cleaned everyday and towels changed as well. What do people want for the price? You will always get someone who will mone. We would definately come back again.

well im only 16 and i stay at the appartment here for a week the out doors looked soo beautiful and we expected the rooms to aswel but they wer so dull also there was no air con so we had to sleep wiv the windows open....the beaches are small but still very nice to visit and to relax but for me i find it too quiet. The night life was very plesent everything near by and easy to access but its a very small place! the staff seemed nice but i didnt really need them because i was always out typical teenager haha also there were some kids there my age and the best part of the holiday at this appartment was meetin the nicest irish lad ever we met on the 1st day and he lived in the appartment above me so that made me happy and enjoy the holiday more :D the nights are quiet and very friendly people i would like to visit again but only if it was a free holiday to be honest is best place for younger kids tho and for a couple who would like a peacfull holiday :)

Just returned from a 2 week stay in these apartments. Was gutted when we arrived as our room was very basic and rather dirty but once we had unpacked and settled in we realised that the complex itself was ok and in a great location. The rooms need an overhaul very basic, old and dirty we did complain to our rep about various problems i.e. patio door not shutting, rusty cot for the baby, dirty bathroom, blocked sink the list goes on i'm afraid but nothing was ever done about it. We don't actually spend much time in apartments when we go on holiday as we like to spend as much time in and around the resort so eventually we accepted that the apartments were just a base for us and I felt better once I had bought a load of cleaning stuff from the supermarket and cleaned myself. We arrived on a Friday but the room wasn't cleaned until Monday and even then we only received fresh bedding and towels the maid didn't even clean the bathroom or mop the floors or anything. Unfortunately nothing was ever done about our complaints.
The kids loved it with great pools, half decent entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere around the complex. always lots of sunbeds and friendly staff. The resort of Cala N forcat is fab for kids and they loved every minute as did we. It's a shame these apartments aren't in better shape as they are in a fantastic spot. we would consider going back now we know what to expect but only if the price was right!!

We have just returned from a week all inclusive at Los Delfines and really enjoyed it as long as you keep in mind that you get what you pay for. This was a last minute cheap break for us and we had a great time.
The reception staff were really friendly and efficient. Although we were all inclusive we had an apartment around the pool. The location was brilliant - the only downside being it wasn't air conditioned and overnight it was murderous trying to keep cool (but fans were available to hire. ) The bar staff were fantastic. Although, maybe slightly slow, they were always smiling and friendly. The beer is served out of a San Miguel pump, it seriously isnt but it tastes fine with a dash of sprite!! My only critisism is they serve drinks all day and all night in plastic cups. During the day around the pool I can understand this, but in the evenings watching the somewhat mediocre entertainment I would have liked a drink out of a glass. But a small price to pay overall. The food is not the best in the world but it is plentiful and we always ate well. We were never hungry.
The maid service in the apartments was a bit hit and miss. They were apparently due to come every 2 to 3 days? We had one visit in the week and we found we needed clean towels and toilet rolls more regularly than this but we just asked at reception and they arrived at the apartment within 10 minutes.
The beach (cove) is a 10 minute walk but the sea was clear and clean and we loved it although it wasnt adequate to spend the whole day there. I would definately return to Los Delfines. Its location is good and the staff were outstanding.

Just got back from a week at Los delfines Hotel, Staff were very helpful, and always cheerful. Rooms were clean and roomy. The food was plentyful. Ages ranged from the very young to the not so young. The water park is next door but we heard no noise . Plenty to do for all. Short stroll to the shops and bars. La Parada is just over the road and they do good breakfasts and evening meals ( The lamb Parada is a must)buses are regular and easy. plenty of places to go. if you smoke take a few packets of cigs as they can only be bought in bulk in the tabac in the major towns otherwise it is vending machines. Will be loads of kids in the holidays

We have just got back from our 2wk stay at the los delfines, and it was lovely, we went self catering and stopped in a 2 bed apartment, they are overall clean, the kitchen area needs a bit updating/tidying up, the fridge was rusty inside and out the freezer tray was solid and the bath was a bit rusty as well, as for cooking facilities you only have two rings to cook on and a microwave so we were forced to eat out on an evening or get a take away. The locks for the apartment werent very good you just had to rattle the doors and they opened, saying that the maintence lads are very good and attended very quickly to sort the problem out. Apartments have no aircon so you have to hire a fan or sleep with the door open as we did.
You need to shop around for food as the supermarkets vary quite a lot, the one at the back of the hotel isnt bad, we weren't keen on the local milk which is priced at 1.50euros for a litre, cravendale is 2.50euros a litre bread isn't like home bread but its ok and it about 2euros a loaf. water is cheap enough but again shop around for it.
I recommend hiring a car, Thomas cook work with Avis but they dont tell you, that you that someone comes to get you and you have to go to cuitadella to get it and then there is an optional 65euro excess to pay if you dont, then you have to pay the 1st 600euros if the car is damged in anyway, we used a local firm and they worked out cheaper. There are some lovely places to go see and it breaks up the holiday instead of just being round the pool coz its to hot to really walk far. The bus service is good though.
we didnt rate a lot of the restaurants but one to def go to is L'Ancora the food and service is outstanding and the fact they dont have to stand on the street getting people in like the others do says it all to me. Overall we enjoyed it we felt safe and were happy for our girls to go to the pool on their own and we would go back again but probably go all inclusive, only thing I would hope isnt there is the very annoying "suncare advisor" a salesperson selling very exspensive suncream.

When we finally arrived at our appartment, the door wasnt very sucure, we opened the door and we was hit by the smell of damp! there was a big hole at the bottom corner of the door which let a right draft in (not good with a 5month old baby) i had a look in the bathroon, which i found rust all over the bathroom taps, the shower wall and bath was filthy.(no way was i going to bathe in that, let alone my baby). we stayed in the apartment half an hour before moving to another hotel as our rep didn`t even offer us some where else to stay!! after forking out 350euros we found a beautiful CLEAN place to stay! The thomas cook rep was usless to us, she dint even inform us our flight had changed from a late evening flight to a early morning one!! the only helpful person we met was a muture rep from another hotel that took us on his coach to the airport, thank you very much!!

Really Good/Really Bad

I stayed here with my father and my little boy who is 6 on lads holiday!
I'll start with the gripes that other people seem to have. People moaning about the quality of the accommodation. The only problem that I had was with the fridge which was rusty and had been painted over but that doesn't effect the food in the fridge other people make it sound that they were expecting to stay in the hilton! Cleaners came everyday changed the bedding and towels every other day good stuff and the rooms is massive so far so good.
The pool is great and is lifeguarded even the presence gave me great reassurance when my little xavier decided to go wondering off. The massive plus point for the daytimes has to be Nicole and Tony the mad as hatters entertainment team. I joined in with water polo, rifle shooting, killer pool, they offered all sorts and they way they were it was fine for children to mix with adults in the activities they even put on a performance of Grease and got some of the kids involved. BEWARE of the SUNCARE ADVISORS/ Salesmen trying to flog you dear gear and rave about aloe vera at about 1pm everyday they were only there for about 15 minutes because it was everyday listening to the same sales pitch which i knew off by heart after a two week stay!!!
We stayed self catering and so explored the resort. The hotle is ideally located on a road behind the main street and no its not noisy. Local la stipulates they have to turn down music at midnight and they stuck to it religiously. Our apartment backed ontop the water park which is closer to the main street and i had a peaceful sleep everynight. Plenty of top quality restaurants at fair prices and two main sqaures jimmy hills whichwas ok and furhtur away and plaza domingo which is on the corner of road on which los delfines is on. They had an act on every night usually music inclined and no flamenco dancers quite strange. They also had a kids club which xavier loved and the kids ramange around on small toy bikes while they entertainment is going on!! Turn right on the main street and it gets quieter about 15 minutes away is a local restraunt that served very cheap cant remember the name but you'd notice it because its get amongst residential houses. highly recommended
