Hacienda Vista Real Hotel

Hello I just came back from Mexico.We stayed at the hacienda vista real for four nights and I have to say that it was fantastic.We stayed at the embassador room which has,kitchen,dinning room,two balconies and living room,,just perfect and a lot of space for two of us. The staff were very friendly,the food was superb and it didnt take long to serve us at all. The place is perfect if you want to relax and rest and I would deffinitly go back.The private beach is 20 minutes by car and you get free transfer at 10.00 in the morning and they pick you up at 3.30.The beach is beautiful and there is restaurant from the hotel there where you can eat and they offer you drinks all day. I met Mustafa,the owner of the place and he is very nice and friendly.He designed this amazing Spa next to the HOtel and it will be open in 3 weeks.He showed me around and it was really nice and big.There is a swimming pool on the top of the terracel,and one thai restaurant as well. After that we spent four days in a bigger hotel in playacar (occidental royal hideaway hotel) and we wish have stayed longer in vista real. Silvia

I visit this lovely resort last month & believe that it is heaven on earth! The villas are beatiful, furnished with all you can need. The food & service are great. They also have a ¨vacation club¨ that I joined & believe me that with all these benefits I`ll come back every year with my family. Great place! I can´t wait to come back. The beach club, located 15 minutes from the resort it`s more than beautiful. I love that place!

Our thanks to VISA, after a full year of disputing the charges on the vacation timeshare arising from our visit to Hacienda Vista Real. The nightmare is finally over. We have received a full refund, needless to say we have paid the price with the stress and anxiety caused by the ruthless and dishonest practices of this hotel. We have learned our lesson, no matter what is promised in a timeshare presentation, if an offer is too good to be true that day, wait a week or more, and if the offer is still good, then think it over even more. There are lots of beautiful places in Playa del Carmen. Most don't involve losing your money and time.

I Took my boyfriend on vacation last week to the Hacienda Vista Real.One of my friends recommended it to me .She was there in September. We were very suprised and extremely pleased with what we found! It was our first trip to Mexico,and we did not know what to expect! The food was fabulous, although it wasn't like what we were used to back home.We were treated lke honeymooners; chocolates on our beds at night, champagne(mexican) in the jacuzzi, all the works! It was really Heaven on Earth to be treated so special! The vilas are spectacular. We stayed in a small one, but they showed us some of the bigger ones and they're nicer than my apartment!! Very nice!! We highly recommend the place, and my boyfreind is planning to take me back asap!!!

Back in August I had the oportunity to take my family down to a great vacation which I was able to find through a web page, they gave us a two bedroom villa, we were able to go fishing on a big yacht and got involved with their membership. One month after we came back our home state was ravished by hurricanes unfortunatelly for us we got hit by Frances and our house got severely damaged, with all the regret in the world we called the vacation club people requested the cancelation of our membership due to the financial distress we were going through at that time, a charming young lady with an awesome disposition named Liver Escalanto and her charming co-worker Luigi Putelli who works directly for the sales department, helped us through the whole process and not only we received our money back but also were able to keep one of the weeks given to us for buying the membership. We can hardly wait to use it and go back to this paradise, hopefully by then our financial situation will be better so we can get involved with the membership again.

WE PURCHASED AT THE Hacienda Vista Real PLAYA DEL CARMEN on or about November 25, 2004 and cancelled within the time limit allowed through the Playa del Carmen proctor. They to refund credit card on Dec 12, 2004 and as of Dec 22, 2004 they have not lived up to their word. We have notified VISA and they are going to charge back and maybe remove them from using Visa again. We cancelled because they were not honest with us !

I stayed @ The Hacienda Vista Hotel and just don't understand why anyone would want to be go back. This was my third trip to Mexico. I stayed Ibrerostar and think that it blows the HRV away. If you ever visit Mexico you will find that as soon as you get off the plane that there are some high pressure sales people trying to sell timeshare for free stuff. The HVR is no different This hotel may be clean and the artwork is beautiful but for the money don't waste your time. The pool is small. The menu has three different choices. You have to take a cab to see water. Something is just not right @ that hotel. When I first entered the hotel I thought it was the begining of a nice peaceful week at one of the many beautiful resort in Mexico. Well I was wrong. I was approched buy salespeople daily. I never had that problem when I stayed at Iberostar. Oh and as far as rooms most are small without a view. Well there are two penthouses@ the hotel and they use one as there sales office to sell you their vacation club. Oh this is a good one they ask you to join a club and prepay for future visits at below rack rates. Believe me You can find all inclusive deals in Mexico on the beach at better resorts. Mexico has so much to offer don't marry this hotel. She will take you to the bank and wipe you out with all her hidden fees.

A group of 10 of us vacationed at the HVR last week. Eight of us stayed in the 3 bedroom penthouse suite with the rooftop jacuzzi. (Absolutely wonderful and very affordable!) One couple had a separate room. I was very nervous about the arrangements after reading all of the reviews here, but there was absolutely no reason to worry. We booked through the Mayan Riviera Villa website and were never bothered by any sales pitches for any kind of vacation club. Nako was extremely helpful in arranging for our transportation from the airport and answering all of my questions. The resort is heavenly! The rooms are clean, beautifully furnished and full of exceptional artwork. The service, especially from the van drivers and the wait staff, is outstanding. The grounds are landscaped with gorgeous plants and flowers. I could go on and on. The one and only drawback is that you are not on the beach, but the drivers will take you wherever you want to go and will come back to pick you up. I can't wait to go back!

I stayed at this beatiful resort and shared my review with many regarding the false promises and lies that are served as a maine course every eveining. I agree with The Pack of wolves theory. Please save your money DO NOT BUY INTO THE PACK OF LIES THEY DISH OUT!!!!!! Stay Away. Mexico has many other Beautiful resorts with out the high pressure sales and the false promises. I have been contacted many times since my stay there back in March 2004. I am working with many different agencies regarding this vacation club. So many people who have stayed there don't have time to write reviews because they are to busy trying to get back the money . Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have regarding this vacation club.

If you like the finer things in life without paying a fortune for them, you'll love Hacienda Vista Real. We stayed in a gorgeous one bedroom with a cathedral brick-dome ceiling in the kitchen, marble floors and beautiful Mayan oil-paintings on the walls. The service at this resort is by far the best I've experienced. We had people bending over backwards to serve us and we even had the staff buy our groceries for a private dinner we had catered by the resident chef. The only draw back to this place is that it's not directly on the beach. And this explains why it's so cheap in price for what you end up getting. If you don't mind the short walk to the beach and town, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!
