had a great holiday here in a very quiet neck of the woods. in arkyarlar on the bodrum peninsula, there is not too much outside the hotel but there are plenty of buses to run you into bodrum about an hour away. the food was always good with plenty of choice and also... more

DIFFICULT TO FIND NEGATIVE POINTS. Amazing location, fantastic infrastucture, no "haute cuisine" but believe me more than decent food. One little problem to mention: majority of the personnel does not speak a few words in foreign languages...their kindness anD smile is compensating it. The front office manager ,speeks perfect French and English . He's full of attention for the customers and you feel his presence in permanence. HOPE TO RETURN ASAP
Fantastic hotel - would definately return
Arrived at 3am and had a very efficient check in, our bags were taken to the room while we went to the bar for food and drinks! Hotel room was excellent, mini - bar well stocked, comfortable beds and fresh fruit and flowers in the room. The staff were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure you had a pleasant stay. We very much liked dining in the different restaurants, again the service was superb. Evening entertainment varied from live music (very good) to Rep shows (not my cup of tea) but the entertainment team... more
A little bit of heavan in a desert.
Having spent 30 years selling in many parts of the World, We found the Kefaluka to be one of the best Hotels we have ever used. If you could give more than ten out of ten, they would certainly rate it. The staff were so very helpful, the selection of foods was incredable. If there was anything to complain about it was the poor quality of Entertainment, and the isolated position of the Hotel. Other than that, the absolute value for money is paramount. The last thing I would mention, which is no fault of the Hotel, is the state... more
A very good hotel, but not one we would return to.
This hotel is a 4* but not a 5* The food bland and served warm. Three al a cart restaurants- were ok Beds far too firm Entertaiment-none during our first week and until the final two nights remaining. Then....very good. All areas very clean. Experienced some very unpleasant older women aged around 60+(very odd) behaving as if they were nasty gang members.- Hotel delt with them promptly. Pool area & bar good ( Pool water too cold) but this was expected for time of year. Beach was having sand... more
Not for middle age couples wanting peace and quiet.
Returned from a 7 nights holiday in Kefaluka resort last night, resort was not 5 star as to English standards but I think the activities probably were, It's ideal for families with children ages 2-18 yrs and the young at heart, great pools but a little chilly, free beach towels as often as you like. They have tried to cater for everyone including ramps and a hoist into the indoor pool for disabled guest's which I found impressive. My husband and I went for the diving as listed in the brochure, but the dive boat at Askin diving at the... more
Nice building let down by an awefull service, food and weather.
The hotel is located on a big hill where runs up to the sea, interior is quite luxiorious with turkish marbles and travertine. except the Lifts can only accomidate 4 guests at a time, so u may endup waiting 15 mins to go to your room (hotel is 10 floors in total) at dinner and breakfast times. Nice plantation around the resort but it lacks shades. The name kefaluka means (wich we learned after we got there) the meeting point of 7 winds which is noticeblly annoying most parts of the evenings. be prepared for strong winds. The food... more
heaven on earth
Simply amazing all inclusive package .Perfect for families with younger and older children.Day and night activities very well organized by the entertainment team. Only few minor issues : they need to work a little bit harder on cleaning the rooms . Turkish Hammam somehow runs out of hot water sometimes.
Clean rooms, incredible food and drop-dead gorgeous views
We stayed at Kefaluka for a week with a large group of family and friends. We all felt the hotel was excellent, and is surely going to improve over time as the staff gets more experienced and the hotel irons out some wrinkles. Some highlights: 1) The views at Kefaluka are amazing from almost everywhere. The resort overlooks a gorgeous harbour, and the open Aegean sea can also be seen. 2) The food at the buffet was certainly the best we have ever experienced at an all inclusive resort buffet. We are very experienced all... more
A total rip off!!!
What a mistake I had made for my honeymoon. We booked this place because we thought that a new openning will bring top quality(the hotel just opened in June 2009). Let me write down one by one all the bad events we experienced. 1-We arrived at the hotel at 15.30 and our room was not ready, eventually they managed a place at 17.00. I wonder how much we would have waited if we had arrived at a normal check in time? 2-The refrigerator in the room did not work properly and many times I complained to the customer services but noone... more
very nice holiday with kids
it's a very nice resort i booked it becaus it was new and it was very beatiful all in all food is great and vary . pools are very nice especially kids slides they are 5 . sea was beatiful but with lots and stones at first entry i think it would have been better if it was cleaned from theses rocks . it is 15 to 20 minutes by bus from turgutreis town but its far from bodrum center . in the gate they would call you a bus or taxi to go to towns but activities are alot in the hotel . the only one problem was the lack of english speaking staff or... more
