Hotel Baia Lara reviews

10 / 10
May 2012, Jacky W

Just returned from two amazing weeks at the Baia Lara, the best hotel I ever stayed in abroad, yes I know compared to 5* UK hotels it doesn’t meet the same standard as say the Langham or County Hall, I have stayed at both, but for a hotel outside the UK…....outstanding,... more

We stayed 1 week at this hotel at the end of November. From the minute you step through the door ,you know you've made a good choice!!! Reception staff were pleasant and efficient, and check in went smoothly. Our room (7039) was on the 7th floor(top) with a lovely big... more

It was great!
IN One word. (Or two ..) it was excellent! 8) The Club Is new, beautiful, luxurious, looks exactly like the pictures on their Web site. Lara Beach is located next to Royal Wings. Staff very courteous. Audience mainly Russians (50%) 20% of Israelis, and the rest of European countries. Very beautiful lobby equipped with comfortable leather sofas, all designed on the basis of a clock and a huge white wall itself as the basis for a user. Serve cold lemonade. Hotel had 3 pools, one just huge, with two peripheral... more
Overrated hotel
We've just got back from eight days of holiday at Baia Lara. The hotel looks great and is quite big. But we were very dissapointed about the behaviour of the staff; the receptionists (daytime shift) were exstremely rude, arrogant and did not quite understand Englisch. Also the waiters did not understand Englisch and must have never heard about etiquette; to say 'hello' , 'goodbye', thank you, a smile etc. For a 5 star hotel this should be a minimum requirement. The carpets in the hotel and in the room were very dirty; eventhough the... more
Fantastic Vacation!
We stayed for almost one week in this hotel. Everything was great including the amenities, rooms, restaurants, cleanliness, etc. The staff were cooperating, special thanks to Mr. Onur & Mr. Serkan at the reception. Mr. Unal at the lobby bar was fantastic and really an asset of the hotel. The food was good and the management of the restaurants doing their best. The Jaccuzzi was only lukewarm, could be better if operated on hot water. There was no shampoo or body wash at the showers whcih was a bit of disappointment. The steam... more
One of the best hotels so far
This will have been our fifth vacation in Turkey and after 4 days at the Baia Lara hotel, I can fairly say that this has been the best hotel so far. The rooms are spacious although not huge. Very clean and new, equipped with LCD screens and numerous international stations. We had 2 rooms: one for the children and one for us. We had a problem with the balcony door where the frame came loose and another problem with the air conditioner which stopped working. Both problems were handled within 15 minutes of my call to the... more
Fantastic Hotel - Worth 5*s Anyday
Stayed with my partner & 2 young children. Been to Lara Beach on several occasions now and a great fan of the Hotels on this stretch. The Baia Lara was only opened 5 weeks prior to our arrival so a little apprehensive. This was alleviated immediately upon arrival, beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Exactly how 5 * should be, with great choice of food & drink, both main restaurants and al a cartes having extensive choices. You do pay 10 euro per person to eat al a carte however well worth been waited on! Hotel as expected is Pristine... more
Great Hotel- Would return
Having just returned from the Baia Lara I am already looking to book again next year. The staff were so welcoming and were wonderful with my children. The hotel had everything you could possibly want...daytime entertainment if you wanted it, the beach was a few yards away where you could pay for paragliding, jet skiing etc, the main pool, although it never felt busy, plus smaller pools..which were very quiet. I would say that that the childrens pool was very small, but our little ones had swim jackets so the big pool was fine for us.<br... more
Excellent brand new hotel
It is fantastic, don't think twice. The service was great, the rooms where clean and had LCD TV's, the location was far from Antalya, but you don't need to go anywhere out of the hotel. I liked the Turkish bath and massage rooms and the long open buffet.
Good value for money
Baia Lara We have been at Baia Lara in July. This is a good hotel where we had an estimate holiday. The hotel has a large outdoor area, there is plenty of space and you dont have to get up early in the morning to get a sunchair. This is a newly started hotel and the service is in top, and it is said that the quality will be even better next year. However, one should be aware of ,when booking a room that it is with balcony and not just a French altan. If you are going to a ala carte restaurant you will have to pay 10 euros per person,... more
Baia Lara
Just returned from Baia Lara and what a wonderful holiday, I cannot praise the staff enough they were so kind and helpful and friendly, they helped to make our stay a memorable one. There is nothing there that I feel would disapoint any holidaymaker. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, beach was great, games room etc activities for the children. Everything you could possibly want on a holiday. Food was good. Entertainment in the evening in the hotel and later in the beach bar. The beach was only yards away from the hotel. So many good things... more
