Jaz Almaza Beach Resort

This is a lovely hotel to stay at. We travelled here at the beginning of April. Weather was quite good although quite windy everyday. We still managed to get a good tan after a week without raising our body temperature! It gets a bit chilly in the evenings so if you travel this early in the year make sure you pack something warm to wear. The hotel is wonderful, the staff are so helpful and it is absolutely faultless. You are treated as an individual and nothing is too much. Never had that before. However be aware of the fact that getting to this beautiful place involves going through a military airport. This means very basic and slow. We queued for 2 1/2 hours once we arrived, in order to collect our luggage and then load on the coach for transfer. Firstly, this hotel is lovely. The puplic areas and rooms, gardens and pools were immaculate all the time. The food was utterly brilliant, always fresh, hot, and loads of choice, and the staff here go above and beyond in the excellent service they provide, a couple of people really stood out, Hany, the resturant manager, runs a very tight ship, and nothing is too much trouble, and mohammed, one of the waiters, was a star. lovely hotel,staff or most very nice,there is a bit of language barrier,one or two spoke very good english.If you want a holiday sitting on the beach or round the pool then yes its perfect for that.The food was good in as the choice,i love veg but dont want it undercooked and cold which this were.Yes we were the first english out there but there season hasnt even started yet i would say the hotel wasnt even half full they will struggle when it is.Lukewarm fish isnt good for you either,the eggs i got when we first went were done to perfection... more

The resort is amaizing with everything to a very high standard. The only downside to the resort is its a little isolated. The rooms are very large sized with most rooms Around 75% having a balcony overlooking one of the various pool. We both felt like royalty and were treated very well by all the staff and the locals when we went into the city.

Well, there are lots of different ways that come up for the spelling of Marsa Mutrah, but it is prounounced Marsa Ma-tru. Apparently it is the second largest city in egypt. In relation to the airport, lets just say that it's nothing like we are use to...you will have to discover that one for yourself, but dont worry its fine just a little slow. Forget anything that it said about you not needing a visa, i can confirm that you have no choice but to buy one. The airport do not give you a choice, it costs £13 or 120 egyptian pounds.<br... more

Only stayed for 1 night, food was superb, pools looked amazing, didnt get to the beach , we had an early start, Guests!!!...well, what can I say .....if you enjoy the company of waltzing Italians and the cast from the Stepford Wives, this is the place for you!

First a few tips. Bring snorkeling gear as hotel has none. Bring racquet and balls for tennis or pay rent. Hotel is Italian so is very noisy with loud music blaring from all hotels on the beach strip between 10am to 6pm with a quiet siesta after lunch. Also expect lots of noisy children which Bravo staff look after quite well and are, in any case, to be preferred over the far more unruly adult Eastern Europeans which now populate Red Sea resorts. This resort is beautiful! I loved this beach so much, it's so gorgeous, water is very clear, like on Maldives! Resort is new, rooms are very clean, comfy bed, and staff is so polite and nice, I have only positive things to say about them! Food is also very good, big choice and everything in a very good ambience! We were there in October last year. In season (jun-sep) hotel can be crowded, but not in this time of year, beach was almost empty, so wonderful quiet, relaxing. Only few people (all Italian, funny). Wind was maybe a bit too... more

samar abdelghafour, egypt, I spent a great week in this magnificent hotel it was excellent. every thing was marvlus. I realy injiod the tiatro show. the restaurants were perfect the service to was very very good. the reciptionists were very frindly and so much helpful. and the most nice thing i realy liked the BRAVO TEAM they were amazing. thanks for every one helped to make this place as it is wish you all the best and wish to the visitores to ALMAZA BAY to injoy their time as I did.
