Sentido Jacaranda

Just came back from this hotel after a 5 night stay there with my partner. We had the bed & Breakfest option and had no complaints with the breakfest, lots of variety. Hotel is centrally located in costa adeje so everything is within walking distancer which is also good. Our main concerns were: - alot of hidden coast, e.g 15 euros a week to hire safe in room. - have to pay to hire fridge freezer in the room. - no irons to iron clothes and ther is no kettle. This is a fantastic Hotel in fact the best I have stopped in. I travelled with my familty and friends and not one of us had a complaint. The food, service, rooms are second to none and nothing is too much for the staff. The swimming pools are brilliant and cater for all ages as does the entertainment. If you want a great holiday where you want for nothing in Tenerife, I would recommend the Jacaranda its first class. more

First the food, its a buffet, but never something special. Always during breakfast eggs, eggs, eggs, bacon, bacon and inspireless food. Diner is the same, never traditional or local food, and bad desserts. At 7.20 the roomcleaners are meking a lot of noise with their cleaning cars and they begin the cleaning. to say its too far to bar,restaurant etc is daft,lift to all floors,we had my mother who is 65 and a baby and a 3 yr old,it was clean,modern,we sat after 5 days and tried to find fault ,we couldnt,best hotel ive been in,staff were friendly,always said hello and made an effort with kids, we have been back a week and there were kids there but not over run, the adults only pools were empty.quiet at night,we were on level 5,which had pool outside,it was a great 2 weeks,if there was a fault it was our 3 yr old wouldnt eat much,we were all... more

This hotel is not suitable for older people who have to walk quite a distance to reach the the dining room and entertainment and bar areas (and back). Notices that shorts should not be worn for dinner were ignored and not enforced by the attendant hotel staff. All the pools were overrun by children despite one having an 'Adults Only' sign. People nit picking about silly things is stupid,not enough lighting, things like that.We had 2lights above our bed one by the bathroom.one in the bathroom and one for the main room. We had an amazing time here the staff couldnt wait on you enough. At dinner you would ask for a glass of wine and get a bottle to keep, we did go all inclusive and there was always something to eat or drink you were never without. I am so glad my friend picked the Jacaranda The hotel is really lovely, spotlessly clean. In a good location a few minutes walk to the beach. It has a peaceful enviroment even though bars and restaurants are nearby. It is 5 mins taxi ride from Playa de Las Americas. The staff are very friendly, without being intrusive. Location - Great. 10 mins to beach Hotel - Very well maintained hotel. Clean and spacious. Well kept gardens. Good sized rooms but poorly lit. Wife had to do her makeup on the balcony. Had to pay on daily basis to use fridge in room. Staff - very friendly and helpful Restaurant - Run very efficiently. We spent a very disappointing week there half term, only booked last minute and we didn't remember ever seeing this hotel, thankfully we were only half board. The food was very basic, hardly any choice. The rooms all over looked the central pool area, which I found really depressing it was very confined - no sea views or anything.
