La Ponderosa is a great locally owned resort with all the amenities. The have a reataurant on site, pool, 14 acres of trails, beach-front, and optional massage, horseback riding or fishing activities. La Ponderosa beach has a great sandy-bottom for swimming at low-tide. ... more
