I can honestly say (as a fussy, well travelled, ex Travel Agent!) that this is one of the nicest places I have EVER stayed in. It was gorgeous. The whole place was pristine. The food was fabulous. The views were unbelievable and we had a fantastic room with a romantic four poster bed with it's very own private terrace with table and chairs and sun loungers.
This really is a little gem of a place. We would definately recommend it to anyone who wants something a bit special and something off the beaten track. This really is a different side to Mallorca that you don't find in your typical package holiday brochure

- Advice: Orient is a tiny village but with 3 restaurants and 2 Hotels
- Activities: I recomend to visit Soller and Deia. Also it is nice to walk around Orient

My wife and I have just returned from 2 fantastic weeks at Son Palou.
A truly beautiful small hotel in lovely Tramuntana mountains of Majorca .
The day starts with the bird song and everything that could be done to ensure a happy stay is done with a smile and obvious pleasure by Marc and their staff. At the end of a stress free day by the pool, dinner is served by candlelight on the terrace.
Sitting on the terrace outside our room in the night, listening to the distant clanking of sheep bells, watching stars, this is full-on heaven. No traffic, no anoying anything, whatsoever.
We simply cannot praise this hotel enough and would definitely return in the very near future.
