Having stayed up at Surf view on a number of occasions and really appreciating the idylic location, the beautiful view, the friendly residents and the suntrap pool you would forgive youself for thinking you are in paradise. The accomodations I have stayed in are all tastefully done and clean and thoughtful.
Sadly you have to watch out for the excessively aggressive clampers on site who willfine you £80 for your permit falling of your dashboard despite support of the owners that you are an authorised guest. No point at all in trying to contact the Surf View administrator as she is equally as rude, aggressive and unhelpful as the clampers.
No way I'd stay there again or recommend it to anyone. Being treating like a criminal by a clamper the size of a bouncer sent to intimidate you. And the incredible unhelpful rude manner of the administrator.
Such a shame to ruin a perfect spot by so few people

We stayed at Number 16. Number 14 is also available.
Comfortably furnished and very well equipped, down to loo rolls and washing up liquid.
Great views of Fistral Beach from the living room and bedroom.
A balcony would make it perfect! These are older apartments but have been refurbished.
Great local walks across the headland. However a car is best to get into Newquay itself, unless you have strong legs and plenty of stamina.
Would also recommend Levennick Lodge Restaurant (within walking distance). Lovely food, reasonable prices and superb views.

Surfview No 16 was brilliant.
Walked into the room and your breath was taken away with the view, even as it was cloudy, next day it was sunny and looked just like someone had stuck a postcard to the window. Open the windows and you hear the breaking waves and see the surfers. Sunsets amazing, although you have to go to the back of No 1 or the cliff edge to see them, or even better walk to pentire head about 10mins walk. Night-time watch the town light up with all the coloured lights.
Lovely owners who intoduced self and nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely View, nice quiet area, swimming pool although not sometimes uncovered early or was put over very early evening(5pm) so not 7am - 10pm which was a shame. Some houses others flats and some people actually living on site.
Might be clampers, but we left the car door wide open twice overnight and nothing was taken... (kids only admitted that when we got home!!)
But keep it a secret... we want to get in Next year!!
