Smugglers Inn Hotel

i booked this hotel well in advance (4 months) for the air show weekend at leuchars , i was promised the rooms , a twin and a double at the rate of £50.00 per night i paid a deposit of £50.00 right away as it was a fair deal , when we went to settle the bill we were charged the rate of £70.00 per night and as i was stupid enough to trust to the integrity of the hotellier i had no way to argue with him and paid up. the hotel has little to offer , it was not very clean , the room was not serviecd over the weekend (dirty towels and coffee cups left), we had to ask for loo roll , avoid the rooms near the lounge and above the bar as you will get no sleep due to the karaoke or the music from the bar , the room's were small and poorly furnished with badly repaired furnature , the shower was broken in our room ,room 5 , we had no clean towels on the weekend and had to take them from the empty room opposite as the staff were nowhere to be seen , the breakfast was fair but with a lack of cereal choice (cornflakes or nothing) the hotel and staff need a good shake and some serious investment.
