We stayed at the Binamar as a last minute cheap deal and stayed all inclusive. I can't comment too much on the food as im quite a fussy eater but even my partner who eats anything! sometimes found it hard to find anything to enjoy it is quiet repetitive. My best advice... more

Binimar apartments, place for kids, we loved it. from A TripAdvisor Member
Went to the Binimar with my husband and 2 daughters aged 2 1/2 and 5 and friends with their 2 daughters aged 7 and 4 1/2. Had a excellent time, the adults and kids loved it. Was a bit worried when read previous reviews, but anyone going should just go and try for themselves. The apartments were basic but very clean, the maids did a wonderful job. The only down side was there was no air conditioning, we hired a fan, with the heat in July this was not that good. We had a ground floor apartment at pool 1 and across form the shop, this was a good location. The shop was very well priced, even a tin of juice was cheaper there than at home. The staff were great, the airtours entertainment guys were one of the best entertainment I have ever seen. I need Alfie's energy, they put on great shows. The Customer services team even got involved in the entertainment and they were of excellent standard aswell. Will not forget Dans own dance of ice cream cones, feed the pigeons, big box, small box and single doorbell, double doorbell. The food in the Binimar was good, we were self catering but ate on the complex often as the food was very tasty, especially their pizza's. Would return, but hopefully they would have air conditioning next time as this was the only down side. If you are looking for a family holiday to keep the kids amused this is an ideal choice. Here is to Cartoon Hero's for all those that were there during July 2005.

Great for first timers abroard as in the main only English people stayed there and all the staff spoke English, so no worries about speaking another language. The resort was clean and well run. The beaches were very disappointing as they were so small, but a bus ride away in Cala Bosch, there was an excellent beach. Resturant food was okay but was mainly for the English. Souvenir shops were a little tacky but the kids loved them. Car rental was easy and was a great way to see the rest of the island. Overall a good holiday for families with small children who are happy to stay by the pool, but if your want to see the real Menorca, avoid this place.

we my wife my 3yr old son and myself have just returned from 2 wks at the binimar it was very very clean , lots of maid service and clean towels 5 times a week beds changed twice a week , entertainment was well above average , very friendly helpful people i am a fussy so an so and would happily return to binimar ... downsides?? i feel very picky saying this we had a 2nd floor appt and the only downside was that the balcony was very small about one third the size as a ground floor , but you dont spend 2 weeks on a balcony do you ..if you are going have a great time we did

just returned back from the binimar, very colourful place and great for families with young children, me and my husband didnt have our children with us and felt out of place without kids. rooms were very hot and needed fans which were there at a cost, maids do enter the rooms to change towels.The chilrens reps appeard to enjoy their jobs and keep the children happy. We were half board food was eatable didnt go hungry.

We had a lovely holiday with our 7 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter. We did not see our son for two weeks and 2 yr old wanted to spend all day in the Creche - which was a wonderful service and very well run by Elizabeth and Sarah. Loads to do, apartments basic but very clean. Excellent entertainment during our stay. You need a fleece for the evenings in Menorca but would recommend this holiday to all with young children not for singles or the elderly. You will all have fun! Just arrived back from Binimar in Cala n Forcat. We were very sceptical about going after reading certain reviews. All I can say is that the place was great, ideal for families and spotlessly clean. The facilities there were excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly and maid service every 2 days. Very good location and within easy reach of restaurants and supermarkets which sold eveything you would need. It was our first visit to Menorca and we will go again next year. Our two boys who are 8 and 4 had a brill time. I would recommend that you ignore the bad reviews and book the Binimar.
excellent holiday for families with children from huntsman
my husband and myself went to the binimar the second week in may and had a great time. the apartment was clean and spacious maid service 5 x a week with clean towels and sheets. we had a lovely sea view which was nice and quiet. plenty of entertainment day and night for children outdoor and indoor show bars 3 pools playground and a creche. the resort is perfect for families or couples. there is no large beach with a promenade but 3 or more small coves the best one being cala blanes at the bottom of the main street. i would definitly recomend the binimar and calan forcat.

We booked our one week holiday to the binimar a bit sceptical as of the good deal we got, but from the moment we arrived our minds were put at rest! the apartment was immaculate, fridge bed linen, towels cutlery looked brand new, the pools were great only thing no life guard. The on site shop was reasonable and the restaurants were all you can eat buffet which was very good or take away pizza's and rotisserie chicken which were very tasty but extremely reasonable, and also the la tasca restaurant which has a varied menu and could not be faulted, we actually found the on site restaurants to be the best and most value for money meals we had in menorca! The kids clubs were also first class, our two kids cant wait to get back! The evening entertainment was brilliant hats off to Dan and his team. On the whole we had a fantastic holiday well done Binimar!

We have just spent a week at the Binimar apartments and would definately return there. Our apartment was at the far end of the complex but had an excellant sea view. Would recommend asking for a ground floor as these had a bigger terrace area and also more wardrobe space. As it is only on 2 levels you also have to climb stairs to get to the 1st floor apartments as no lifts, not ideal if you have young ones in pushchairs. Airtours staff were very friendly and helpful.Plenty of onsite activites for the kids. We took our son who is only 18 months old. We didnt use the creche facilities there but there was an excellant playground with slides etc built on sand so didnt matter how many times he fell over. Resort Amenites close to hand with a restaurant, supermarket, car hire place and cash point directly opposite the apartments. Little disapointed with the beaches in this resort but we hired a car, which we would recommend and visited the nearby beaches of cala galdana and son bou. overall highly recommended. Would recommend this if your first time abroad as everything is home from home ie heinz beans, english sausage bars showing eastenders etc.

cant say a lot more that i thought the binimar was great we went in june 2003 for a week. the apartment we got was excellent it was on the end of the complex overlooking the sea. We were really put off going by some of the reports on here but i had booked it by the time i found this site. i really dont know what some people expect for the money that these holidays cost!!! All i can say is that the people are friendy the area is lovely and it is a great place to go
