on arrival at brisamar was told drinks not included in price we moved to malgrat but had to pay 80 euro plus no transfer at airport so it cost 60 euro for taxi to resort DONT GO SAVE YOUR MONEY

We paid for all inclusive £800.00 for 6 nights ended up self catering for 6 nights.
After eventually finding the hotel ,arrived at unmanned reception ,eventually booked in by a waiter who could not speak English , then after refusing first room was given a room with a 1 meter balcony.
Managed to speak to the Manager who then informed us that they were not all inclusive but LIGHT ALL INCLUSIVE which meant soft drinks tea and coffee , NO ALCOHOL and no food available between 1300 and 1900 hours so parents beware.
Staff not helpful , food a disgrace very little choice , even if you wanted to eat there , restaurant below even 2 star rating , take your own clean cutlery , salt and pepper, use your own towels and pillow cases.
We were sat outside the hotel the following day drinking our non-alcoholic drink ,awaiting the rep from Med holiday / Hotels 4 u to try and get moved to another hotel when along came a waiter and asked do we want a drink I replied no thanks he then promptly asked us to leave from the front of the hotel as this was for paying people only.
I recommend if you find yourself there go and see Peter in the Tavern or the Buccaneer he serves good food and made our holiday bearable.
Pineda De Mar is a lovely place and the beach is worth a visit , trains to and from other resorts very frequent and cheap

After booking this hotel with media travel off the teletext and being told by this firm that it was all inclusive, what a shock on arrival. I was told that it was not all inclusive, and that the local beers and spirits where not in with the package deal,that was the first shock, with more to come, on reaching the room, the bathroom was damp and the wallpaper green with algy ,no plugs in the bath or sink the shower conection to the wall was loose, towels grey and unfit to dry yourself with, after discoveing what can only be discribed as a green monster that came from some employees nose on one of the towels i decided that our own beach towels would be a far better option to get dryed on. The dining room could have done with a clean and the table cloths where the same lovly gray colour as the bathroom towels, with a few other stains mixed in. The meals where burnt, if you want a enlish breakfast do not come to this hotel the best breakfast i had was cracking two eggs on a plate and microwaving them my self, you had to clean away your own plates in to a bin, the bin was perilously close to where the food was laid out. Every time i went to the reception to complain they didnt seem to understand that we where not gods and didn't want burnt offerings for our food. pineada de mar is a quaint little place, that is (and the locals agree) being dragged down by the quality of this hotel.

Terrible Hotel..Not all inclusive..Not child friendly...Not for the disabled...Dirty.. food not edible.... The best thing about it was leaving could'nt come quick enough. No waiter service..Have to make your own breakfast which is eggs and more eggs. Not allowed to sit outside at the table and chairs as they were for paying guest only. (though that was what we were)? The hotel management rent out the bar/resturarant... You have to sit up stairs on the dirty balcony with no view.
