Chalet Jora is a charming chalet in Bansko old town. It is run by Brits Jay and Laura who we found to be very helpful and knowledgeable. They pre-booked equipment and lessons for us and took us to the hire shop on the first day of our holiday and made sure we were happy with everything. Our 3 year old son was with us and Jay often provided extra shuttle runs to and from the ski area for us at no extra cost. The chalet is very comfortable and has a home from home feel. Our group of 11 booked the whole chalet which has 5 bedrooms but can sleep to to 14 people because 2 of the rooms sleep 4.
The food was really lovely and Laura was happy to cook separate meals for the children which we were very impressed with. Evening meals were 3 courses, all homemade and very tasty. We also had free wine with dinner to wash it all down.
The lounge was large but cosy and had a great selection of DVD's and games as well as a chalet bar and log fire. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and we were even given slippers to wear around the house.
Bansko is a very quaint town with lovely cobbled streets and lots of character. I'd certainly go back and stay at Chalet Jora again in the future.

Anyone looking for a great chalet...look no more! Hosts Jay & Laura have a beautiful chalet and are the best hosts you can get! You also get great food, comfortable beds and a great little old town close by. Look no further for a great snow holiday :)

Chalet Jora was perfect for what we wanted. It was a great place to relax after coming off the slopes and the food that Laura cooked was wonderful. The hosts were very welcoming and knew loads about the surrounding area. I would certainly recommend this chalet to families or groups of people who are looking for a great ski holiday.
