Ovacik Residences

This is being advertised as a apartment but all it consist of is two 2 bed hotel rooms with no where to sit together to eat we sat on our bed to eat and my son and his friend sat on theirs to eat. we were sat in a no air conditioned room so it was boiling as the tempertures in turkey reached over 40 dergrees.
as we were shown in to our room down a corridor there was our room which opened into more corridor which was converted into a kitchen were there was really no room to cook and where you could stand the door if anyone walked in the door would hit you which was dangerous whilst cooking. The kitchen was badly lit aswell. In the description it said there was a balcony which could fit 4 people and a table to eat which we tried and there was really no room to move.
The room with no air conditioning was right on the main road so as you tried to sleep the noise from the cars would keep you up. The balcony could only fit 2 people standing up. 1 sitting down. As it would get hot in the room we tried to leave the door open but the noise was to loud we really had to keep it closed.
The "en suite" shower rooms were dangerous as the water would splash everywhere making it slippery and also you could literally sit on the toilet and have a shower at the same time.
In the bedrooms there was not alot of storage for most things like clothes.
It advertsies internet and a safe but you have got to pay locally for them and the safe is not in the hotel.
But there was a plus the complex was lovely 2 good pools lovely staff there which helped us out alot. pool table, table tennis and a little gym. The bar was open 24/7 down by the pool, there was someone to serve you all the time which was very good. The owners fickrit and ismail were 2 lovely people which were very polite and spoke good english.
The overall rating is 2 because we loved the complex.
But that is not for the hotel rooms. By the way the two bedroom doors still have the hotel numbers still on.
