We arrived hoping this would be a beautiful and peaceful place. We were delighted. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We were greeted by the extremely friendly hosts Alisa and Danielli. They were great hosts throughout our say but not at all intrusive.
Tuesday night we were invited to join them for pizza, this was made and cooked to order in an unauthentic brick oven, plenty of wine and lemoncello.
On the Thursday night a Tuscan dinner party was organized and with linen table clothes and candlelight, we again had a superb evening.
This was an old farmhouse and has been converted lovingly into four apartments. The decor and fittings are a very high standard indeed.
The surroundings are well maintained and the pool with its stunning views is marvelous, sit at night with a cold beer and watch the sunset or later with a brandy and look across the valley, paradise. We both loved the peace and tranquility.
Their is also wide variety of places to visit. San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra and Lucca are all medieval towns well worth a visit. Then of coarse there is Florence only an hour away.
We would recommend this villa for a great holiday.
