Stayed at the studios for a week...that was long enough!
Basil the owner is lovely and so is the pool, although all the sunloungers are broken ,mind your fingers!! Also the poolside pop music is very anoying!
The rooms are very basic,we exspected that..but would have liked things to work!! Sockets are very dodgy, some comming away from the wall!Shower was a nightmare!Bathroom door didnt shut,so no privacy!!
The week we were there it was very hot at night and as there is no air con you need a fan..this you have to pay extra for,and ours blew up after the first night!!
The location of the studios is great,3 mins from the best beach on Corfu,2 mins from the shops, bars and restraunts. It was quite noisy at night as there is a large complex not far away that has entertainment at night.
Overall you get a warm welcome from Basil but the studios do need updating and maintaing. We will go back to the resort next year but not to these studios.

Tour operators guests have the studio and apts on the second floor as the first floor is reserved for travellers, so no noise from above. The rooms are small and basic with a private balcony and are cleaned every day. Basil prides himself on his pool as he cleans it twice a day, and is fairly large about 20x40 with plenty of sun loungers and food is served all day. Beach is about a four minute walk with about eight restaurants and supermarkets even closer. This resort is very low key and fairly quiet, ideal for a relaxed holiday/getaway and while sitting in the restaurants you can watch the sun go down.

I and my wife stayed for 12 nights at Kamelia Studios, Agios Georgios, Corfu in the 2nd half of July 2009. The propritor, Basil, is delightful and he does almost everything for the 7 studio apartments on offer to customers. About 90% of his trade is repeat business and Kamelia has some people who have been returning for over 20 years!
The accomodation is basic and some aspects of it are a bit drab. But the pool is superb and the pool bar is great!
Basil and his son, Paul, who also sometimes manages the studios are very friendly.
Bar food and drinks are available throughout the day and night. Basil's toasties are wonderful! Prices at the bar are very reasonable. Almost everything is 2 euros, though a pint of their draght lager costs 3 Euros.
Nothing is too much trouble for Basil.
Agios Georgios is in the south of the island and has the best beach on the island, I think. It is small and quiet not a dancing mecca! There are many restaurants and tavernas. Our favorites were The Balcony and Makis.
I'd also recommend you take an Island Tour, a trip to Corfu Town (which is very Venetian) and a boat ride to Paxos and Anti-Paxos which are very peaceful and picture postcard picturesque.

Basic is not the word, very poor is. Basil greeted us with a load of abuse about Germans, which we found very offensive. When we saw our studio we were so disapointed because we had read good reviews, have holiday makers been staying there with their eyes closed!!!!The kitchen area is discusting, the cupboards did not close as the wood was rotten, and damp inside. Nowhere to put washing up, as there was an old greasy hob on top of the draining board. Fridge went off four times while we were out at night, no air con we where so hot during the night we had to have cold showers, in what I can only describe as a hovel, no shower curtain water went everywhere, the window had mesh covering it,which was dirty and full of dead mosqutios.
We had no bed linen changed or towels, how un hygienic.
The only good thing I can say about the Kamelia is the lovely clean pool, but all the sun beds are broken!!!!!
