Theo Sunset Bay Holiday Village

Thier was hardly any choice of food in half board menu. The suite we stopped in had got the sewerage tank outside .This was covered with a green tarpaulin .It was reported to the manager a number of times about the food and alswo the smell of sewerage.Onthe second week of our holiday they found out the sewerage tanf had collapsed. So the one day of our holiday their was a J.C.B their all day

Just returned from the Sunset Village. We had a one bedroom suite overlooking sea. Immaculate ! brand new utensils, bedding, furniture etc.... Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool area is brilliant - infinity pool with fantastic sea and mountain views. We would recommend the use of a car and would suggest using Autounion- they will pick you up at the airport and take you back to the office (5 mins away) to pick up car. Found great rate on the net and, being concerned that building might not be completed in April so it'd be a pain to be there for too long, booked 6 nights here (room-only: self-catering) with 4 elsewhere. When arriving at this hotel at night we were very worried as it seemed like we were in the middle of no-where on a busy road... we were right! The hotel itself was lovely, views were better than expected, staff were very friendly. Rooms were spacious and everything was brand new, they honestly thought of everything when they built this hotel appart from the location but i guess that is why it is quite cheap! We've just had a fabulous week in the Theo Sunset Bay staying on half board basis. We stayed in a studio which is fully equipped with brand new facilities and everything you could possibly need for self catering was supplied. Both rooms, the bedroom and dining room have huge patio doors and we had two patios with fabulous sea views. The rooms could not be faulted at all both for cleanliness and facilities. Thought I'd write a review because I was so worried about going to the Theo Sunset Bay a few weeks ago and really wished there had been some reviews to read!! I was worried that I would be waking up next to a bulldozer everyday in the middle of a construction site but this was not the case at all! On day two of our stay at Theo Sunset village - decided to write a review for all the concerned due to visit holiday makers. The hotel is finish to a good standard - very clean and modern large rooms with everything you could ask for. Some have sea view which is amazing. The only drawn back is the location you will need to get either the bus or a taxi into Paphos or Coral Bay. Was also very worried travelling out there, hotel isnt finished but the half that isnt built doesnt affect your stay at all. WARNING :- to all travellers though who arent going with a package operator- TAXI £45 from airport to it!!! And that is the standard rate now. Hotel is new clean and staff is amazing very helpfull.Still need some things to been comlete but all what is ready is perfect.Swimming pool area is brilliant.

Went to the Sunset Bay last week and was a little nervous after reading the forums on the hotel and whether it was finished. I am pleased to say that it is and it is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and very well equipped for self catering. The rooms are really well furnished and cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and when my other half sat on the lid of the toilet whilst putting on his shoes and smashed it to pieces it was replaced within hours!!!
