" Camping Domaine Du Colombier "

This is quite a small but very pretty campsite. Security is great and it is quite quiet, better for younger kids rather than teens, to be honest. Just a few things to mention....the pool was excellent and the waterslides kept my kids amused but - be warned - there are not enough sun loungers for all who want them in high season and you need to be at the pool by 10 a.m. to get them. The lifeguards ruthlessly remove any towels that are "keeping" beds which is actually a fair system. The site is hilly but I quite liked that and there are lots of flowers and palm trees. The snack bar is very dear but then this is the Cote D'Azur. A plain omelette is 7 euoros!! Campsite shop is poor but there is a huge hypermarket 2 miles away. Lastly, there are literally no bins near any of the the caravans and you have to cart your rubbish to the bin area just at the entrance which is a pain. Perhaps this to avoid rats or whatever but it was new to me and I have been going to campsites for years. All in all a lovely site but this is a very busy part of France with overcrowded roads and overpriced shops/restaurants so I am unlikely to return soon.

Good for: Beach
