My family have just spent £300 of our hard earned money to book 2 nights in the Magic circus Hotel near Disneyland Paris to treat our 6year old son who is recovering from an operation to remove a tumour.  How I wish I had never been sucked into the advertising of the... more

The language barrier is a huge minus. We spent almost an hour struggling through check in. Staff members were overwhelmed with the large number of guests. The Room service menu was very limited, and they do not understand English! Requesting for extra ketchup was like... more

We found this hotel to be fine for our short stay. The only advice that we took from someone else's review was the queues for breakfast are huge unless you get there before 8 - and that proved to be true. We arrived every morning at 7.55 am and beat the rush. Disneyland... more

This hotel suited our needs for our short 3 night stay. The rooms are very spacious and great for families as the curtain round the kids beds gives some privacy, and some with tea/coffee making facilities, safe, TV's and hairdryer. The bathroom was great with a huge bath,... more

Travelled by coach to Euro Disney. Not a good idea - takes too long to get there and Leger have far too many pick up points. Holiday Inn fine. Good buffet breakfast and good food in their buffet restaurant in evening. Cleaning of rooms a bit slow. The hotel not really... more

Very clean hotel with a Circus Big Tent theme (think of "Disney's Dumbo" and you kind of get the idea). The rooms are very spacious with a VERY comfortable KING SIZE bed AND a tent bunk bed for the kids with wrap around circus curtains. Bathrooms are modern and light. ... more

definitely not impressed by the staff
We checked into the hotel. this is where our problems began. we had booked and paid for the room online, and brought our confirmation papers with us (LUCKILY). First we were told that there wasnt a reservation under our name. Then we were told we owed some $400 for our stay. After about ten minutes, we established that the room was already paid for, but they didnt have a room for us. We did end up in a small room that was pretty clean with all the basics. Everything went fine to the rest of our stay, until our last night. we asked the front desk what they best way to get to the airport was, and she told us that taking the bus would be much quicker and cheaper than the RER (train). she told us which one to take, what time it would arrive and when we could expect to be at Charles DeGaulle airport. so helpful! The next morning we got on the bus at the time she had told us. we paid TWICE as much for the ticket to the airport and we didnt make our flight. i didnt realize it was possible to turn a 30minute trip into almost a 2 hour trip. we missed our plane and had to spend our last night in paris in the Charles DeGaulle airport.
Surprised at high standards
We were a bit concerned before travelling as we had read reviews indicating rooms were dirty and breakfast a scram but I have to say we were impressed by the standards at this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights early April and had a kidsuite room which was very spacious. The room was clean and available when we arrived at 11.30am! The buses run frequently to the park and although crowded at the popular times, it was only a 5 minute wait to get on the next bus with more space. We went to breakfast at 8am each morning and there was always plenty of tables and food (however did notice queues at 9am). I didn't use the pool but it looked great. Would definately recommend this hotel,
Good hotel and good value
We stayed 2 nights for my son's birthday. We'd booked it last year when it was still a Holiday Inn and got a great price for 2 rooms as my Dad was travelling with us. My 2 sisters also ended up coming and booked a suite for a very reasonable 100 ish euro a night. We arrived at check in at the right time as it got very busy as we were heading to our rooms but having said that they were able to allocate the 3 rooms at 1030 in the morning which with a 3 year old was brilliant. We had adjoining rooms with my Dad and a separate curtained off bed for my son which he was delighted with. Our safe didn't work but we used the one next door so it was fine. The tv wasn't working either but we didn't bother reporting it as we didn't spend any time in the room except for sleeping. The shuttle buses to the park are very frequent and we were there in no time. We ate the two nights in the hotel as well and it was fine for what it was. There is a good choice for breakfast and they have cartoon characters walking around. The lobby has a good choice of amusements and there's also a play area, small but enough for the decompressing after the parks. We used the left luggage room too on the last day so as to have some more time at the parks, it's swipe in so we felt it was quite safe and none of us had any problems. It was a pity the pool was still closed but we knew about that when booking. It was due to open the day after we left. I'd definitely use the hotel again next time as it's great value and very clean.
Travel Agent Review - Nice Hotel, Bus Shuttle Not A Problem!
I stayed at this hotel 1st-3rd March 2009, for 2 nights, this hotel is now known as the 'Magic Circus Hotel' (sister hotel to the Dream Castle Hotel.) As we were travelling with work, we had a slightly different check-in to other customers, but when we did approach reception with questions they were happy to help, and answered our questions without a fuss. I had a Suite to myself and it was huge - King Size bed to myself, which was very comfortable! Rooms have cupboards with hanging storage, TV aswel as tea and coffee making facilites. Bathroom has a shower over the bath, and does have a hairdryer (although it's not very powerful.) Breakfast was included in the package and was in the form of buffet, with plenty to choose from - yoghurt, pastries, pain au chocolat, croussants, bacon, toast, beans etc. This hotel does have an on-site swimming pool but I never made use of it as we were in the Parks the whole time we were there; there is also a bar in the lobby area aswel as pool/snooker tables and air hockey for the children. There is a disney shop in the hotel (like there is at all off-site hotels.) Check-out was smooth, we just handed out room key/card over to reception as we had no charges to our room. Any questions feel free to message me.
Clean and comfortable, just a short drive from the parks
This is a large hotel, the reception desk was always very busy, and there are always a lot of kids running around, but I guess that's what you should expect for the location. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There is plenty of parking at the hotel, and it was just a short drive to the Disney Parks. We didn't eat at the hotel, we got breakfast at the nearby shopping centre (Val D'Europe), and ate our other meals at the parks.
Very comfortable beds!!
Stayed at this hotel from 1st March for two nights for a Disney FAM Trip. Was very comfortable (I had the single bed with a partition and can see how this would be good for kids!) and no complaints with the shower. Big choice for breakfast, if you're not a fussy eater! Otherwise there are cereals, bacon, croissants, etc. Lobby is a nice meeting area and buses run regularly to Disney (takes no longer than 10 mins maximum). Swimming pool was down whilst we were there but it all looked very nice. There's a lovely bar area but room service is expensive with a 15 euro service charge!
very Good Hotel
Stayed here last week for 3 nights with 2 teenagers,Room was fine, bunk beds & a double bed,2 tv's,t & coffee making facility.Ice machine on all floors.Breakfast was very good, great choice, no q's even tho it was mid term. The free pink shuttle bus was ideal, never waited more than 10 min & ran up to 23.55 from Marne la vallee. The shopping centre & outlet centre at val'deurope was great, very good pub opposite the train station, nice food & 5.50 euro a pint.Internet access was 35cent a minute in the hotel lobby,a bit expensive.
Great Hotel
I stayed at the hotel with my girlfriend, at least she was until i propsed in the park on our second day, The hotel was clean rooms superb and services to the park were second to none. The difference in price to stay here compared to Disney hotels is huge, this was so much cheaper and for the sake of sleeping in the hotel, you will be too busy all day to do anything else, the hotel is fab. It was big and open and had a lovely family atmosphere.
couldnt of got a better hotel
myself and 7 other members of my family stayed at the holiday inn for 2 nights. We booked 4 double rooms which ended up been king rooms which were lovely, clean and very big. Staff were very friendly and spoke good english. Bar and resturant had lovely food as we ate in both. Buffet in resturant was 10 euro for breakfast and 29 euro for dinner. Well worth the money as they had a wide range of food to choose from. Shuttle bus for disney came every 20mins and was a very quick journey to and from the hotel. Overall a very good hotel, well worth the visit. After reading other reviews i wasnt sure about the hotel but im glad i went as i enjoyed every minute of it. Very close too disney so i would stay at this hotel again instead of staying in disney itself as it is half the price, and all the hotels are together so its a great location..
Dirty
I went in Paris in Octomber with my husband and my child. when we arrived the room seamd to be ok, clean, not too big but enough large, a nice bathroom... I thought that the reviews were exagerated. The days after I saw what the others described... Even if they "cleaned" the room daily it was realy dirty, they made the beds and that's all. They never cleaned the carpet, the furniture or the bathroom. The restaurant was too expensive and the breakfast horrible. The only thing that was ok was the staff. They were realy nice but that not enough to come back here.
