We went October 2010,to celebrate our 40th anniversary.Unfortunately we did not find a huge choice of meals, the puddings were the same every meal, not sure if its because it was end of the season?I was ill when we arrived home, the pork wasnt cooked enough from the grill, luckily I only ate a tiny bit,but still resulting in food poisoning(which incubates for up to 48 hours according to the doctor). The cups of water that were given out from the bar tasted strange,so again I decided to leave it.It was a shame,as the hotel was clean, its tired and could do with a bit of renervation, but looking at previous reviews,we thought this would be a great holiday, but wont be returning.

This hotel is really good, the beach just 2 mins walk away with lovely blue water, the restraunt is good also as you never have to wait to be seated and most of the staff are really nice and friendly . The entertainment is good, Antonio is the best :D puts so much effort in to every thing he does, Hope hes there next year :) , Water park is just round the corner . You could spend a whole day there , although its small we all really enjoyed it . Been to Menorca calan bosch 2 years in a row now and would really recommend it as we are going again next year. You must go to atleast see antonio , who looks like Ben Stiller. Would really recommend it , you wont be disappointed..

me and my husband stayed at the calan bosch hotel from 2nd of july til the 9th,we read some reviews before we went and were a bit aprehensive,we neednt have been, what an absolutely fabulous hotel, perfect location right on the beach which is absolutely beautiful, and only a short walk to the marina.the hotel is spotlessly clean sheets and towels changed everyday, the food was great with plenty of variety to suit all tastes, all the hotel staff work tirelessly, the all inclusive drinks are good quality and its san miguel on draft, the bar staff were great and made you feel right at home, really nice people, the only down side was the air con in the hotel did not work which made mealtimes and sleeping in your room a bit of a task but it was fixed by the end of the week, all in all we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this hotel to anyone,we liked it so much we are hoping to go back later this year, well done calan bosch,

I went with my family last year to Hotel Cala'n Bosch for a week! At the end of the week, Me and my mum was crying because we didnt want to go home!
For every meal of the day, there is a great and delicous buffet, but you can eat out and about aswell. Each day Me and my sister played in the pool all day, we never went to the beach! In the evenings, the entertainers put on a mini disco with all sorts of spanish songs!
One evening, Greece was on so we stayed up late to watch it! In the evemings, it could get a bit nippy, but it wasnt too cold! I loved that holiday so much and we are going to the same hotel this year but for 2 weeks this time! It was the greatest week of my life! ***** star rating! I reccomend it!

Just arrived back from a fantastic week at Cala N Bosch Hotel.
It is immaculately clean and looks like a complete renovation has been done, our room was spacious even though it had a double bed, cot and bunk beds in and there were only 4 of us (initially Thomas Cook had expected my 2yr old boy and 12 year old 5’ 5” daughter to top and tail in a single bed and I had complained and it seems the hotel over compensated! Bathroom was luxurious! Rooms cleaned and towels changed everyday to an excellent standard.
All staff we encountered were thoroughly professional and we never queued for bar or a table in the restaurant even though I’m pretty sure the hotel was fully booked.
Food quality and choice was Fantastic, Grill chef on each night, a pasta chef doing 2 kinds of pasta, fresh Salads, meat and fish dishes to choose from plenty of veg, 2 kinds of potatoes and rice and for anyone under 10 or fussy they had a selection of plain foods. I was celebrating my birthday whilst there and had planned on going to a restaurant around the Marina but saw no point as Im sure the food wouldn’t have been as good!
The hotel is right on the beach where the Parasols and chairs are payable as it is a public beach, though they are so set back you can easily set towels down at the front or as we did just keeping popping up and down as the 2 year old was scared that the sea kept moving!!
Cala N Bosch is a small quiet village with plenty of restaurants and bars if you want a change of scenery during the evening, though Menorca (like the rest of Europe)isn’t cheap anymore around 4 euros for a pint and if you’re All Inclusive it seems a bit daft on a regular basis. There is very little shopping in the village, though buses to Cuitedella are every 20 mins from outside the hotel if you like to pawm round shops.
I had read on a previous revue that the TV was appalling and when we arrived we were relieved to at least have Cbeebies and put up with it for 3 days, but after having to watch BBC2 fuzzily for that long I had to go and report it to reception…. How I wished I had done it straight away, within a matter of 30 mins a maintenance person had been up to the room fixed the aerial and voila, we had BBC1 and ITV as well. So please don’t suffer in silence, nothing seemed too much trouble (We didn’t go on holiday to watch TV, but the 2 year old boss decided we weren’t staying up for the entertainment after 10pm)
The only slight critisisms we would have only involve families with toddlers and was that the little play area that the kids loved to run around in mostly early evening had no gates and spaces in the hedges which made it a magnet for the smaller faster ones to be able to run anywhere dangerous like around both pools. Also there is absolutely no shade around the childrens pool at anytime of the day – this wasn’t the end of the world to us as we went mid May when temperatures were bearable – you can hire a parasol for a whopping 9 euros a week though you can but them, in the shops for 6 euros, as it was All Inclusive, it would be a nice touch if “shade” was inclusive as well.
A few reviews have complained about the plastic cups at the bar, this is only during the day as most people are sat outside or around the pools and is for safety, from 7pm drinks are served in glasses and the bar is actually at the door of the restaurant so taking your own drinks through isn’t a trek, we had no problem in ordering more than 2 drinks at a time either, though possibly at the height of season they may use this rule to serve people quicker or to stop extra greedy drinkers?!?
I would definitely recommend this Hotel and it is very likely we will return next year, once our 2 year old can stop running around everywhere and we can enjoy the full entertainment offered by the hotel!

I went to cala'n bosch hotel in 2008 and loved it. I thought i wouldn't be able to afford to go back in 2009, but i managed it.
It was even better than 2008. It could have been that we knew the area better, but we tried out many new things. A bus into the old town is not expensive and such a lovely place to visit!!
The kids had the time of their life and I hardly saw them. They got involved in most of the activites, and my daughter ended up with 11 winners certificates.
Again I dont know if i can afford to go back this year, as the kids are a bit older and time off school is more difficult, but im going to try.
We had an extra member to our party this year, which was a suprise for both me and my kids, and they had fun showing their uncle around.
all round perfect holiday again. Well done to all the staff for yet another memorable holiday.

went on 23rd sept. off to cwl airport great staff. good flight and transfers to hotel. hotel excellent position between beach and marina. our room overlooked the pool and beach and we were about 4 minutes easy walk to the marina. although its small its beautiful. now the hotel. clean. but many babies there with prams and noise. not a place i think for adults. the main pool was taken over by parents with babies and was so noisy with loud music the only quiet area was by the childrens pool where most adults who wanted some peace to chat, read and have a quiet drink went. entertainment starts at 8.30pm for children and adults start at 10pm if u r lucky. and its not good. no where in the hotel for a chat and quiet drink to meet people there are a few seats in reception where we sat. the food is pretty good we ate well. many people we spoke to booked on the internet and paid as much as £150ea less than us so book on line. not much to do on an evening as the area is so small there are loads of eating places but we felt too expensive as are drinks out. the return back was horific as all the flights were booking in the same time and we were about 2hours standing waiting - not a good end. would we go back to calan bosch-yes but not to the same hotel - leave that to the children

Having just returned after a weeks holiday I needed to pen my thoughts on the place. Hotel and location were truly great. Food plentiful and hotel staff friendly. The thing that got to me were the prices in Spain. 3 times dearer than England. Thank goodness for all inclusive which i might add did not include a hairdryer @ 11euros. sun beds on the beach 15 euros. safe in the room 15 euros. Pool really was a little small for the amount of guest there but you get by. The harbour was a delight plenty of restaurants if you got a little bored with hotel food. only a few shops which was a pity. Any longer in the resort and I think I would have gone brain dead... Great place but wouldnt go back to that location or hotel again.

Me My Nan My Cousin And Me Grampy all had a wonderful time at Hotel Cala N Bosch.
The staff were very kind and helpful, The entertainment team, such as Ramses were the best they worked non-stop and made everyone laugh, they were a credit to the hotel.
The food was very nice, but getting to the end of the week to got a bit boring.
The rooms where nice and clean, the cleaners did a good job,
We over looked the beach and pool which was a never good view, it was a lovely beach.
I am deffenatly going back to Hotel Cala N Bosch.

My wife and I had 2 glorious weeks at this hotel. Location is excellent as you are close to the beach and the marina. The food was beautiful and all the staff were very friendly. The entertainment is the best in Calan Bosc and Ramses and the rest of the team work long hours to keep everyone happy. I have booked the same hotel again for 29th May 2009, I have never went back to any hotel twice before but I liked this place so much. The price is very reasonable considering its not much more than the self catering establishments in CnB but the great thing is you dont need to add drink and food money to your expenses with it being fully inclusive. The resort itself has the best of both worlds...for those that like to keep going until 4am there are many bars that open late but if you want a quiet holiday the resort caters for all kinds. Its the best place I have been on holiday to and that includes Greek islands, Teneriffe, South of France, the Costas on the mainland etc

my husband and i have just returned from a brilliant holiday in calan bosch the accommodation was very clean with 7 days a week maid service all staff were very well mannered and spoke very good english, the facilities for children were very good, the young entertainers were very well professional in every way all day and every evening. the only fault i had was the food was a little boring by the end of the week but apart from that i would definately go back but next time with my grandchildren.

we have had quite a stressful year and decided to get away for a break in the sunshine in a hotel and resort that had plenty of good reviews.
However, sadly we were very disappointed! On arrival we were given a room on the lower floor which was not the best. The first night the shower head broke off and even though we reported it straight away, it was still broken 6 days later!!
The food was not as good as it could have been, some of it looked like it was just reheated. It seemed that a lot of attention was paid to the older people who were Spanish and lacked inspiration for their British customers.
The resort itself was quiet as it was the end of the season and this wasn't really highlighted in the booking.
we don't have children and the party that had children found it hard to occupy them, due to lack of kids club. This resulted in those of us without children being subjected to bored children running around screaming with little or lack of parental control.
Would I return, no is the answer as I feel it catered more for the older generation and although the entertainment tried hard, it was very boring and again catered more for the Spanish visitors.
