Cala N Bosch Hotel, Cala N Bosch, Spain
Hotel Information
Hotel Description:
A beachside, all inclusive hotel with a choice of entertainment. The range of facilities available means that children are kept occupied and will soon find friends by the pool or in the playground. Away from the main pool area there is a second flower shaped children's pool in attractive lawns, where parents can soak up the sun whilst the children splash away happily. When dusk falls the fun really begins, with professional shows on either the indoor stage or by the poolside.Nearby Hotels Viewed by Other Travellers

Submitted By: sammie dWe had requested a room with a sea view before we got there, when we arrived we found we had a room that over looked the main pool & the beacj itself. The rooms are really nice & are cleaned every single day with clean towels provided daily.
The location of this hotel is perfect with the beach only footsteps away. The Marina is a minutes walk from the hotel & this is where all the shops, restaurants & bars are.
The food was also really good, there was a huge range of different foods & desserts available - although some foods were the same.
Staff where really friendly & always say hello to you.The restaurant manager was always around & if he could see there was a couple of people waiting to be seated he'd find them a table straight away so never had to wait long at all to be seated.
Last thing I have to mention are the entertainment staff who were also faultless.
They try to get everyone involved although if you don't want to the won't keep hassling you. They have a mini disco for the kids in the evening which my niece loved & they also had entertainment for the adults starting from 10pm. The entertainment staff for the mini disco dressed up each evening for the children & are really energetic.
This was an all round fantastic holiday - I will definitely be going back here again & will be recommending to everyone I speak to!!

Submitted By: Mrs JE TULLETTI was really looking forwad to it as we previously gone 6 years ago, and my mom and aunt went last year.
I was really pleased when i got there as it had all been upgraded since the last time i went.
The entertainment was brilliant, the bar staff friendly and even though the cleaning staff did not speak english, we all seemed to communicate well.
The food may have been basic at times, but there was plenty of it, and a good variety. although sometimes the food was out of this world.
It was my parents 40th anniversary whilst we were there and the hotel gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
The weather was hot and sunny. and even the thunderstorm we had on our last night didn't dampen the weather or our spirits.
The beach was a short walk from the pool area and you could just pop down and leave your towels on the sunbeds round the pool, without worrying.
I can't afford to go back next year, but my next holiday will definately go back as soon as i can.

Submitted By: Mrs S TurnbullMy husband and I traveled with our 22 month old son and my parents and we all had a ball. I contacted the hotel a week before we were due to arrive and asked for 2 rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and beach. This is exactly what we got when we arrived. My parents got a double room at the end of the floor so had a corner balcony which overlooked the marina as well. We had a spacious family room in the middle of the floor with twin beds, a good sized cot and bunkbeds! Loads of room. The rooms were cleaned daily with no complaints from us at all.
The rooms facing the pool and beach get the morning sunshine and the rooms at the front of the hotel get the late afternoon and evening sunshine. The rooms on that side - on the higher floors, have a view over the marina.
We got to know some others who were moved to the sister apartments across the road - cala n bosch apartments, and they thought they were superb. All newly refurbished with fridge etc. They were very happy with them.
Food - excellent. Plenty of choice all the time, it never became repetitive. Dining room staff were great and we never had to wait for a table - plenty of high chairs too. There is also a microwave if you need to heat up baby jars or milk. There is only 1 toast grill which I can imagine does cause problems in the height of the summer but 2nd week in Sept we did not have to queue more than 2 people in front which took about 5 mins!
Entertainment staff were second to none, boy these guys work hard. If you did not want to get involved there was no hassle, they were happy if you did or did not. Our wee one was a bit too small for the daytime activities they put on for the kids - aged between 3 & 4 to 9 & 10 are perfect ages really for this hotel. However he loved the kids disco in the evening and we had a job keeping him off the stage! The bingo was a laugh (never played in my life before but hey ho you are on holiday and lets get in the spirit!) My dad won 180 euros one night so it was worth it! The shows from 10pm were really good too - some put on by the entertainment team, some professional acts - all very good. Loved Grease - hilarious!
Location - you could not ask for any better. Right on the beach and only a very short walk to the bars and restaurants round the marina.
Hotel staff - from the dining room, to the bar staff to the cleaners to the entertainment team - hats off to you all. We will see you all again next year.

Submitted By: Mr MJ SmithAll staff spoke good english.
we met a great bunch of people who have returned year after year and we will definitly consider returning ourselves.
There is a good swimming pool and the hotel is very close to the beach, food is what you would expect from a 3 Star but there is the Marina right next door with plenty of variety of restaurants if you need the change!!
Breakfast there is very good with proper sausages as we know them and a good variety of choice.
The only slight dissapointment to our holiday was the weather at the end of the week but you can't blame the hotel for that....a cracking storm to watch though from our balcony which we enjoyed!!!
All in all a very good holiday and looking forward to returning there!

Submitted By: Mrs J ThompsonThe room was very basic, table, chairs, dressing table, beds, kitchen area that DEFINATELY needs improving, bathroom and belcony. As we booked this indpendentaly we did not have a rep to speak to so we just made the best of it.
The food in the restaurant of the hotel was OK, nothing to right home about only if you like chicken and pork most days! This was also very disorganised. We have stayed in all inclusive before with much more organisation. There definately needs to be more attention to detail. Oh and only 1 toaster in the restuarant for about 200 people so some days you good be queing for quit a while for 2 rounds of toast.
When walking around the complex we noticed that some of the apartments on the other side of the building to us had been done up. On looking on the internet it shows pictures and gives discription of them having living area, ie. seating area, table and chairs, telephone, and bedroom and bathroom so I have decided if you pacifically book the apartments you get the good side, if you book the hotel and they can't fit you in you end up in the grotty side of the apartment.
We did enjoy are stay and liked the area it's self very much. We will not be going back but to the Cala'n Bosch Hotel.
I have written to Thomas Cook to complain and waiting a reply.

Submitted By: Mrs W EdwardsWe found the staff at the hotel very friendly and helpful, our rooms were cleaned every day and there was alway a good choice of food at the restaurent.
The only problem we had was our son fell into an age group (11) where the the mini-club activities were a too childish for him but he was too young to join in with the adult entertainment, they could do with more activities covering 10-14 year olds rather than focus on the adults, but all in all an excellent holiday

Submitted By: iloveholidays1703the hotel itself is very clean rooms cleaned daily and clean towels whenever you wanted them all staff very friendly food is lovely never repetive always hot

Submitted By: Mr J Mc DaidOur room overlooked the front of the hotel and we could see the childrens' pool, the sea, the Marina apartments and pool opposite and the lovely Marina itself. This was particularly nice to view at night when it was all lite up and thronging with holidaymakers using the various shops, bars and restaurants. The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was more than adequate and the maids cleaned our accommodation every day and replaced towels when necessary.
Getting a lounger early morning was a bit of a problem but, if you were not successful there were plenty of tables and chairs around to make your own little space and loungers always became available as the day progressed. The pool was never overcrowded and the beach, with its lovely sand, was only a few steps away. We walked from one to the other throughout our stay and it was great!
On the entertainment side the Animation team worked their socks off all day long for the young and the not so young (like ourselves) and you were always encouraged to take part in their many games. Evening entertainment varied from poor to excellent but the Marina was always available for those wishing to be more adventuruous.
The food was very good, the selection catered for just about any taste, and chefs prepared a meat dish and various pasta dishes during meal times in addition to the variour fare on offer. Breakfast was a delight as "real" sausages (those used to spanish breakfast menus will know what I mean), freshly fried eggs and bacon were on offer.
Being an all inclusive hotel the beer was on tap, a large variety of spirits and liquers, including coctails were available all day along. You could even pour your own wine during meal times and I really loved that!
Cuitedalla is nearby and a bus leaves from outside the hotel every 15/20 minutes and is well worth a visit. We went a couple of times and enjoyed strolling around what is an extremely old city. All in all I would recommend this hotel for families and older couples but not for teenagers or those in their early twenties as the pace of life would probably be a bit slow for them. We have holidayed in the Baleirics on 6 occasions to date and this stay would rank above most. We will definitely be back.
" We stayed at this hotel the last week... "
Submitted By: Mr M RileyWe were all Inclusive and the food at the restaurant was excellent. There was plenty of variety and they even had a seperate childrens section which suited our fussy teenager. I even had a five course meal most days and that was Soup, Salad, Fish, Meat, and dessert. As the hotel had a lot of italians there was also a very good pasta section.
The staff at the hotel were great. They were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The animation team were excellent and made sure there was something to do for everyone day and night.
The beach is right next to the hotel and you can walk from the pool straight onto the beach which is soft white sand the the sea is very clear.
There were a few different nationalities at the hotel but it was mainly Italian and English with some Swedes and Dutch thrown in. We all got on very well and we made loads of friends of all nationalities.
I would definatly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of going to Menorca.

Advice: its small pretty and quiet
Activities: all were pretty good
