Villa Melanie

My partner and I booked through Villa Plus. The Villa was in immaculate condition with every thought from the owner to make your stay safe and enjoyable. The owner also owned the orange grove next to it and not only did he visit to ensure we were happy, he said we could help ourselves and we enjoyed freshly squeezed orange juice.
The only let down and unfortunately it was a big let down was the Rep, who we contacted to inform the pool heating wasn't working. She informed us incorrectly that it was working without checking our concerns in the first instance with the pool engineer, who had himself had problems with it before our arrival. The unnecessary delay in resolving the problem resulted in 3 of the 6 days we could have used the pool being lost. The heated pool was 50% of the reason for booking this villa and although this was eventually resolved the Rep made us both feel as if we were a nuisance and that she was doing us a favour. Not until I told her how we felt did she begrudgingly apologise. There were other things we would have liked to have asked her, but due to her off hand manner overall incompetence, we didn't bother. This was such a shame as everyone else, Villa Plus, the villa owner and Thomson Airways had done everything possible to make our holiday enjoyable.
We are going to contact Villa Plus and I am sure they will ensure that no one else is treated in this manner. Had it not been for the Rep we would have given the review a score of 10 and would otherwise recommend both the villa and Villa Plus to others.
