Looks nice, but fundamental problems!

I stayed in this hotel in February and although it looks very posh, there were a few major problems which were not solved quickly: 1) The room was absolutely freezing and only warmed up to a comfortable temperature by the morning after having the heater on full-blast all night. 2) The water in the bathroom was ICE cold and I complained immediately and this was not sorted until 12 hours later. The staff said my room was the only one with this problem after checking it and so I asked for another room. They said there was only a...

You have been the first client which is unhappy for the accomadation.When you have said us your problem abouth the water the time was 2 am and in 30 minutes we have solved this but not 12 hours laters which is unacceptable because your friend and your guide when they check the water you have already said them It is okey. Secondly for the A.C. has a control panel in your room and you can regulate by self. If you had a problem why you have not said us we can regulate it as your wishes. Finally we are sorrowful to hurt your feeling We would like to welcoming you in our hotel again Which can be pleasure for us to make your holiday as your wishes.We wish we would be a chace show our hospitality soonly. The best in the Area..

It was our first time to Istanbul, and by absolute coincidence we stayed in the Ferman hotel. Our experience was excellent as we spent 6 nights in a stylish private hotel with an amazing location, in the heart of sultanahmet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern with ottaman inspired touches, we would definitely recommend it. Our only issue was with the hotel driver, He was unpleasant and rude. Thank you Sinan, Aja and the rest of the crew. We will be back in the summer :)

The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before.It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go in the city. The room was big and comfortable. The hotel staff in young and very friendly. We found Sinan extremely helpful. Sinan knows a lot about the local history and was a great host and source of information for someone so young. Sinan went out of his way to help - for example, we had to catch an early plane to leave Istanbul and Sinan woke-up at 5am to say goodbye to us!...

Ferman Hotel in Istanbul is great. We booked last minute and paid a great price, and couldn't believe our luck. The hotel is brand new and is in an excellent location - tucked into the back streets near Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque,Topkapı Palace , surrounded b y lovely restaurants and bars. This is a great little hotel just away from the hustle and bustle but still very close to the main sights in SultanAhmad. We stayed in a junior suite, which had excellent decor and which had avery good view of the sea. There is a raill track running along the rear of the property so any room with the view of the sea also has the slight downside of the noise from the trains passing by, though these are infrequent and the noise appeared to stop during the night. Great location

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from all the main sights. Rooms are very nicely decorated, staff is friendly. Breakfast could be improved, not too good ambience and small selection. Our biggest problem was the lack of soundproofing: you can hear the TV, etc. from the other rooms. If you are irritated by that, don't stay here.

This hotel is a stunning example of old meets new. The hotel its self is superb in quality and size. I booked an ottoman room which was set in an ottoman style with all the luxuries you could need and the bed was soooo comfy. The hotel staff are exceptional and cater to your every need and went out of their way to be helpful and supportive with guidance about Istanbul. I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the ferman hotel with my family.I stayed in the Sultan room.Its a new hotel with a lovely decor and fresh feeling in the rooms.The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly.I arrived in the evening and the currency exchange offices were already closed and i was in need of turkish liras.The receptionist went out of the way and offered me turkish liras which i could return him the next morning when the currency exchange offices open.The hotel is near to the Blue mosque,arasta bazzar,topkapi...
