Sonesta St. George Nile Cruise Ship Reviews

We booked this cruise through Archers Travel. The airline was Monarch - a good, timely flight both ways. Service was excellent throughout our stay onboard. Food was, on the whole very good but quite repetitive over the week. Cabins were spacious and cleaned daily - good design throughout. Egyptologist Ehab was very knowledgable. Most tours were inclusive. The main tour which was not included was Abu Simbel and cost an extra £130 per person. Tea making facilities within cabin. Would advise asking for fresh milk for tea & coffee, which you can keep in your mini bar. Hair dryer in bathroom. TV, and internet facilities (chargeable). Good air conditioning. Seated with the same people for every meal. Quite a small ship according to other more experienced cruise goers. Entertainment is provided by you, the guest, good if you join in the games! There is a fancy dress party 2 nights out of the 7. Jelaba or galibayas can be purchased very reasonably in the onboard shop. Also a jewellers on board. All in all - an extremely enjoyable week and our third visit to Egypt. This cruise is an excellent way to see more of this amazing country and meet it's very friendly people who will appreciate it if you try to speak the language even if only basic phrases such as: Shukran - Thank you & Salaam Aleikum - Hello.
