We stayed at these apartments on buisness. They were extremely central, very clean, well laid out and equiped. No hidden extras (Breakfast, wi-fi, gym etc was included). Quite reasonably priced for Aberdeen (second only to London for expensive hotels). Staff were helpful in... more

Spot on
Excellent service, high standard apartments. For the last 9 months I have stayed every other week in ABZ and not ones have they let me down at City Wharf apartments in any way. For me it’s my second home, saying that, it’s better than my home be course of the service you get here that you will find in a good hotel. My compliments to the manager Craig Stewart who will go the extra yard. The Bluestream Group.
An Awesome time was had by all.
From the moment I arrived at the apartments I felt like I was at home. All the rooms were decorated and mainted to a very high standard. The bathroom was amazing very spacious and the shower was out of this world. The bed was so comfortable we did not want to get out. The lounge and kitchen area are well set out and all requirements were catered for. Credit should go to the whole team especialy the cleaning staff, as the rooms were immaculate. The slippers, chocolates and welcome hamper were a special touch and very much appreciated. I can not wait to go back in late October. Please try and I am sure you will not be dissapointed.
Best accommodation in Aberdeen
I've stayed in a number of hotels in the Aberdeen area over the past few months but City Wharf Apartments is always my first port of call. When travelling on my own, it's a breath of fresh air to have somewhere to relax without the pressures of a hotel bar or restraunt and the dodgy service that usually follows!! The apartments are great value for money and not any more expensive than the majority of rooms in Aberdeen at the moment but the standard and quality of the finishing and the staff is far higher at the apartments. The staff are excellent, they get to know their regular customers and many are on first name terms. This place is setting the standard for accommodation in Aberdeen - I wouldn't go anywhere else.
The best accommodation in Aberdeen!
The City Wharf Apartments are stylish, very comfortable and modern. Having stayed in hotels in Aberdeen also, I would highly recommend staying in the apartments during your visit to Aberdeen, if you enjoy your home comforts, complimentary breakfast and enjoy the luxury of a large living space while you are away from home. The owner of the apartments is also exceptionally friendly and the staff can't do enough for you. I stay here every week on business and would not go back to a hotel!
Brilliant - Home from home
Fed up of staying in hotels, and feeling like you live out of bedroom. Bored of hotel food, and wish you had the choice or throwing a quick snack together OR eating out. This is definitely the place for you to stay. It feels much more like a home, and a place you can chill out in when not at work or out and about. The apartments are newly and tastefully purchased and close to town. The staff and the manager, Craig, are super friendly, and you can call them anytime with a problem and they are quick to respond (when I was ill one day they brought me soup and DVDs!!) The sleeping area, bathroom and lounge/diner are all very separate, and so it feels like your own place and it's probably much better value than any hotel you'll stay in in Aberdeen as well. Being up here regularly over the last 6 months, I am not sure how I would have coped if I hadn't found the place. Thanks guys.
Beautiful Apartments
I stayed here recently while attending a function in Aberdeen. Firstly, it was great to have an appartment instead of just a hotel room, (and for less £'s than local hotels of the same standard). Before you arrive you are given pin numbers for access to the building and appartment giving you the freedom to check in anytime. The reception area was very welcoming with a log fire and the staff very friendly. The appartment was lovely and modern with harbour views. The kitchen area was immaculate with all the amenities you would require and a welcome pack with continental breakfast and bottle of sparkling wine! There was a most reasonably priced, well stocked mini-bar in the fridge. The lounge area was spacious with a plasma screen T.V , Hifi and free internet access. The bathroom was very clean with underfloor heating, bath and powerful shower. The bedroom was very well presented with plenty storage space for clothing etc. Parking is free for City Wharf residents at the car park behind the appartments however, the appartments are very near to the bus and train station and a just a short walk from the main shopping area. Definitely the best place I've stayed in in Aberdeen. I highly recommend City Wharf Appartments to anyone planning a stay in Aberdeen.
a refreshing change
What a refreshing change. A huge improvement on hotels we have stayed at, with equal star rating. We were constantly suprised with the continous helpfulness and service. We stayed here with a child and an infant and found it suitable for our needs. As we were there from o/seas for a wedding, they organised our outfits to be pressed and hair appointments. Great location, 10 min walk to city. Free car parking, gym access to a local gym, hamper basket for your breakfast needs filled everyday, morn paper, what more chould you ask for. We were there for 8 nights. We would go back and have recommended to all our friends even in Aberdeen. Hope you are equally pleased.
The best accommodation in Aberdeen!
I eagerly anticipated the opening of City Wharf Apartments as I had noted the construction and refurbishment of the property and as I am a doctor at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, I often have the need to stay over in the city. City Wharf is unlike most other hotels in Aberdeen. In Aberdeen, there's a high demand for rooms by people in the oil industry, hence most hotels are always full and standards can be low as demand always outstrips supply, however, City Wharf has risen above this and has set themselves very high standards. I have stayed at City Wharf on numerous occasions now, and they have always excelled in their approach. Their manager, Craig, always makes you feel most welcome, and is really proficient and ensures all your needs are well attended to. The rooms are really quite tasteful and unlike anything else in Aberdeen... spacious. You really have space to move and breathe. The first time I stayed there, I had the downstairs flat and they had left an Xbox in the room for me to use, for free, even though they usually rent it out; the room also had two plasma screens, hifi, free internet (both wifi and ethernet). Looking back, I would suggest this room is even perfect for a disabled guest. More recently, I have stayed on the upper floors, which, whilst smaller, are still tastefully decorated and well equipped and well stocked. You always find a nice bottle of wine from M&S, and more than enough items for a good breakfast: nice loaf of bread, eggs, milk, jam, marmalade, juice, etc. Whichever unit you stay in, the kitchens are really well equipped with very high quality appliances. The units are also just really welcoming and comfortable. One thing that has really impressed me is the attention to detail. The bathrooms in the property are beautifully designed, and I have noticed that the cleaning of them has always been excellent and careful, and I would suggest this is down to the manager who goes round and checks everything. Another thing that has impressed me is the fact that they are always thinking of how to make your stay more comfortable and how to improve. An example of this is an experience I had in February; I had arrived quite late and told the manager that I would have liked a few cans of coke, crisps, etc. He offered to give me whatever I needed from the office fridge, however, the next time I stayed there, there was a minibar service in the room's fridge (and everything was very reasonably priced). One thing you have to remember is that this is not a conventional hotel; the office is usually closed in the evening, however, this isn't a problem as you can arrive at any time - they text you the property entry code and the room entry code. If you need parking, they give you a swipe card for the NCP directly behind the property to come and go as you please (this has come in very handy), and they have agreements with nearby leisure facilities too (though I have not used these). One time, on arrival at 11pm, I needed a bag I had left with them on a previous stay - they office had been closed for several hours; I phoned on the out of hours number and they had someone bring it to me (with a smile) within minutes, so although you may not have conventional hotel facilities, you don't really feel it. I have stayed at every four star hotel in Aberdeen, and the one five star hotel there, and apart from the one five star hotel, this is the only property I would stay at repeatedly.....and I have, on many occasions now. There are very few negatives: I suppose not having a phone in your room could be a minor inconvenience for some people (but everyone has a mobile, so is it really a problem?.... and with the free wifi internet there, I just use my computer skype phone to make and take calls - I'm sure, on reading this, the management at City Wharf will probably even start to stock a couple of skype phones for customers to buy, rent or borrow); I suppose the only other problem is not having access to a fax machine when the office is closed, but again, would you need use of one outside of business hours? Anyway, I have never experienced any problems. They are adding more rooms by opening another property, and assuming they run the new property as efficiently as this one, they will really be solving a huge problem which exists in Aberdeen - gaining good quality hotel accommodation... and with a manager like Craig, I am sure they will continue to succeed. If you want space, comfort and a friendly welcoming stay, try City Wharf Apartments..... you will not be disappointed!
Loved City Wharf Apartments
Adsolutely excellent accomodation, only just opened in Jan. Way above the competition. Much more modern, we have stayed in the other Aberdeen serviced apartments, which are really quite 80's. CWA is really well equipt. (Plasma TV, DVD player, etc) Free Wifi and breakfast, no hidden extras, great views over the harbour, really central, the manager was extremely helpful and went righ out of his way to help us, arranged restaurants, also let us have use of the Wii (You normally have to rent it, but no one else had it). The gym (nearby) has just had it's pool and jacuzzi refurbished and was very relaxing. Also had a free bottle of Champagne in our room when we arrived (Argentinian - not Moet). Will definately use them again, much better than a hotel room, even a suite (As you get a complete one bedroom flat).
