Serinn House

The Serinn was without a doubt the best hotel experience we had during our recent two-week trip to Turkey. It is a small boutique cave hotel, but every room is decorated with excellent taste and maximum comfort in modern design. Eren is the best hostess, and she and her staff will welcome you like family. Also, you'll get to meet Findick, the nicest dog I've met in a long time :) Breakfast was always unforgettable, served in the terrace with a very nice view, and if you're lucky Eren will serve you her delicious biscuits and peach pie.... more

A trip to Cappadocia is a must for anyone visiting Turkey. Fascinating natural landscape and history. And, Serrin is a wonderful place to stay. This is by far one of the most interesting and best small hotels that we have ever visited, in any country. The hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, and the proprietor is a fabulous host. We highly recommend this hotel. It is a cave hotel with a comfort of modern decor and ammenities. It is an unique experience. The rooms a clean, pleasing to the eyes, not too far from the town square. (recommend somine for dinner). You get the view of the mountains from the terrace. The continental breakfast is good, especially the orange marmalade made by Erin's mom. We are quite picky in our hotel choices, and were very pleased with Serinn. it's a very clean, comfortable, boutique hotel.

We had a wonderful time exploring Cappadocia mostly because of the warm hospitality and helpfulness of Eren. We had a number of e-mail communications and she had made arrangement for shuttle transfers, tours and recommendation for other activities before we arrived. Owner Erinn, her staff, and her wonderful pooch Findek offered the most hospitable stay imaginable in a gorgeous setting. The cave rooms were contemporary and stylish, immaculate, and full of amenities (like lounge slippers). Beds were excellent, with convenient reading lights. You could always look forward to a delicious breakfast with freshly brewed coffee ( the usual choices are Nescafe or thick Turkish coffee) and still-warm-from-the-oven baked goodies, served overlooking a wonderful vista of Cappadocia. Capadoccia was our last stop in Turkey - as they say save the best for last. My experience at Urgup, Capp. was made all the more amazing thanks to Eren and her exquisite Pensyon - Serinn and pet pup 'Findek'. As in all the reviews readers will get that Serinn is a wonderful boutique styled hotel (all of 5 rooms - so get in quick) soooo stylish and works with the natural 'cave-ness' which offers sublime insulation from the oppressive heat. Our stay at The Serinn in Uerguep, Cappadocia was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Surrounded by Cappadocia's breathtaking landscape we were welcomed by cheery Hotelowner Mrs.Eren, who did an incredible job in remodeling a beautiful old house with a modern twist, staying true to its ancient heritage, but adding some modern spice to it, choosing exquisite designer furniture to accomplish a very special mix where the old meets the modern. I stayed at Serinn for 3 nights in June.. and I had possibly the best hotel stay ever. Eren, the owner, was an absolutely wonderful host; She speaks fluent english and italian, as well as her native turkish, cooks delicious food, will book tours and travel arrangements and will even pick you up from bus station if you arrive by bus! We found Serinn using a search engine and booked via internet dialogue with Eren, the proprietor. We have had an absolutely wonderful time over the 4 days of our stay; between the wonders of Capadoccia and the care of Eren who has been like a friend to us - nothing is too much to ask for. The rooms are chic and spacious (by cave hotel standards) and the food is awesome - Eren is a first-rate chef.
