We can only agree with the review of Miss Hull in 2002 - excellent hotel, staff, food and location.
A very good quality hotel, the staff will do anything to help, whether it's local information, travel details, or room service. In May 2005 we were one of only a few British bookings, and very few children. Unlike other similar hotels we've stayed in the children were quiet and well behaved.
This is an ideal hotel for couples on their own, very relaxing and an ideal place to 'chill out' from the hustle of life back home. Quite often we find that the 'hotel pool' is the last place we want to spend time, but at this hotel it was so quiet that it was a pleasure to relax in the hotel grounds.
We will certainly be looking to book this hotel again.

We were blown away by the level of service and the warm welcome we received at this hotel.
In May its alot quieter and a great escape from busy lives back in Britain.
The food was 5 star, the hotel was 5 star and the service 5 star, infact we cannot complain about anything! we had an amazing time, we were infact 1 of only 6 British couples staying there at that time, most were German, very pleasant and well mannered, few children, the ones that were there were well behaved and stayed mainly at the children’s area where activity’s were plentiful with trained child minders.
It’s a very quiet hotel, but only minutes from the hustle of the town, opposite the hotel is a nature reserve which is nice, and in the evenings the lounge and bar area would have classical players, or singers on, again, more class than brass, if you get my meaning.
The hotel also boasts a beautiful indoor pool, gym and sauna, be warned though, the Germans bare all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having only stayed in 5 star hotels, this one definitely gets the thumbs up, we cannot wait to return.

Our party consisted of two 'seniors', myself and my wife and a my son's young family including two children, a 2 year old boy and an 8 mth old girl.
The position of the hotel was excellent. My grandson enjoyed the sand and paddling on the safe beach a few yards from the hotel pool complex. There weere plenty of sun loungers , shades and towels at the extensive choice of pools. The spa, including heated pool with all the trimmings, was perfect to enjoy and take the children out of the sun when they had had enough.
Because we had booked late, there was some confusion over the accomodation which comprised a lovely large room with a sea view and a nearby junior suite.
The problem was resolved very satisfactoriy, in a speedy and charming manner by Marga [ who had been very patient throughout the booking ] with the help of her manager and with the minimum of fuss. Indeed all of the reception staff were outstanding.
We came off half board part way through the holiday because the timings for dinner did not suit the little ones.
All in all we had a lovely holiday.
