We stayed 3 nights in the hotel...excellent, central location. Close to all of the important sites in the Capaddocia area. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful view from the outdoor eating area. Margo & Lowell

We spent 2 nights in Yusuf Yigitoglu Konagi and the experience was really good: clean room, nice bathroom, beautiful design, nice walking to the center of Urgup, breakfast was good and the best!: Since we had a very early fly (4:30 a.m.) they even gave us luch boxes with our breakfast. The only limitation maybe for older people is that the rooms are upstairs....I'm not sure if they have some rooms in the first floor....is worth to ask

There is not much to say about this that hasn't already been said. Daphne was warm and charming. She is very knowledgeable about the Capadocia/&Turkey and immediately you feel at home; she even commented that she didn't believe we were Australians because of our lack of luggage! It is clear that she is proud of "her" country and her beautiful property (as well she should be!) The views were incredible and awe-inspiring. The rooms were lovely and cool. We stayed at Yusuf Yigitoglu Konagi cave House in early October for several nights and were very impressed with the experience. We booked many many months in advance and were rewarded with one of the best rooms in the house . The rooms are very spacious and has balconies. balconey is perfectly placed overlooking the hotel and holds possibly one of the best Urgup views. We loved the hotel. The people were so friendly and helpful.the rooms were clean and comfortable (best water pressure I have ever experienced). Breakfast was very good. I can back up all of the nice comments below, this really is a fantastic hotel! I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Cappadocia. The Yusuf Yigitoglu Konagi is a small boutique B&B located in the town of Urgup, in the Kapadokya (Cappadocia) region of Turkey. (The property was formerly known as Yusuf Pasa Konagi but they had to change the name to avoid confusion with a property of the same name in Istanbul.) YYK is not in the central part of the town, so if you want lots of choice of restaurants, nightlife, and shopping either stay there or take a taxi. My husband and I have just returned from 2 nights stay at this beautiful hotel. The room is tastefully decorated with clean bathroom complete with modern amenities. The Turkish decor of the room provides a comfortable and homely ambience....they even have an antique telephone that works just fine. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. The room is of good size and the built-in wardrobe provides ample space for clothings. The staff are polite and friendly. The hotel has a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere...good for couples... more
