An extremely well presented hotel. everything that you could wish for, with very nice touches. Peace and quiet lovely staff and great meals.
Brilliant.
We stayed at the Olive Tree Studios Oct 2008. Absolutely Loved it.! The Room was Perfect, the Owners are Carpenters & the Quality of the Furniture is Beautiful. The Room was very Spacious & Comfortable, with everything you could Possibly need. The Pool Area & the Sunbeds are of the Very Best Quality, and the NO Children Policy, makes Sunbathing so Relaxing. We ate in the Restaurant in the Hotel,The Food was Excellent. We attended the BBQ Night with the Belly Dancer,Cannot recommend this enough, the Food kept coming all Night &... more
A little gem - shhhhh don't tell your friends.....
We arrived at the Olive Tree at about 7.30am after a night flight out of East Midlands. Tired and more than a tad grumpy, we were met on the steps by two of the lads who worked there, relieved of our passports and suitcases, then whisked upstairs to our room - check in complete, no messing, no fuss just what we wanted. Too tired to bother with anything much we fell asleep for a few hours and woke up just before noon. We obviously wanted a shower before venturing into town, but as is fairly common in the Med at this time of day there... more
Nice place but beware.......
Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor regarding this property I fully endorse everything that has been said with regard to its quality, cleanliness, peaceful relaxing pool etc and I would also recommend it to anyone contemplating going to Turkey. However one or two areas to be wary of - upon arrival after a long journey we fancied a drink using the rooms facilities (kettle, coffee, tea etc provided) I went to the hotel bar to purchase water 8 TYL (Turkish lira - about £4) bought me 2 litres of water, thought this was a bit steep... more
Management response from kenan5

Re- This particular reponsee: This guests paid 8YTL for 1.5 litre + 2 small bottles of water.(we still have his bill) He implies he paid 8 YTL for 2 litres. Our scones are home made, using a scone baking tray purchaced and brought out from UK. The size of the scones are standard and are aprox 2" high. He fails to mention that tea is served in pots and is unlimited. The jam is certainly not left over from breakfast and is served along with cream and butter in individual pots. This guest ordered and received afternoon tea for 2. He implies it was 18YTL for 1. Whilst purchacing wine in UK may be cheap, the opposite is here in Turkey. 18% VAT,+ 22% governmental tax on all luxury imported goods of which French wine is included. We sell cheap local wine at cheap prices, and like every restaurant and hotel in the world need to make a profit. It is ımature of him to compare a cafe, or a local supermarket with a fine Restaurant and up-market Hotel. Our entire outlook is to make all our guests feel at home. Some guests use the Bar and restaurant daily, therefor they and us are more familiar with each other. We encourage all our guests to join us for a BBQ and our own private all day boat trip. This is by far the nicest way for all the guests to feel at home and get to know their fellow guests. This client declined both events. We resent the implication that we 'suck up' to any one. Maybe this would be better seved using 'all inclusive' style holiday resorts. It is patently obvious that all other responsees have written favourably on our account. We thank them. Olive Tree Studios
One of the reasons I wanted to write a review of this hotel is because there is not presently much information regarding it on trip advisor. The hotel is small (15 rooms) and is child free, it has a very chilled, relaxed atmosphere particularly around the pool and bar. The rooms are spacious and clean. Please note if you book with Thomas Cook and wish to have a double room please state that this is required. Breakfast is superb, a full English breakfast can be cooked to order or if you prefer a lighter alternative try the fresh fruits... more
Best holiday yet without the kids (we love em really)
On the way to the airport we recieved a call from Thomas Cook to say our original hotel was overbooked! Details of the replacement were provided over the fone. It sounded fine. (Bear in mind the previous holiday was a nightmare, we had to force Thomspson to move us, so there was a little trepidation). The flight over was fine and getting through the airport was fine. The trip to the hotel took a while, (the coach drive wasnt rushing). Anyway we arrived at the Olive Tree at about 3am so it was dark. Inital views looked fine. It was just... more
Fab Holiday
Just back from a wonderful week at the Olive Tree Studios. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel, the most peaceful relaxing holiday you could wish for, partly due to its adults only policy. The rooms are lovely with four poster bed, separate lounge area and loads of storage space. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, powerful shower and was equipped with a hairdryer. Loads of choices for breakfast, pretty much whatever you wanted. Friendly and attentive staff. The pool was first class. Good food at the hotel and also at the Olive... more
Perfect honeymoon!
We went for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The hotel is so accomodating and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We had the honeymoon suite as a free upgrade and the room was stunning. There were petals on the bed when we arrived and a special welcome message for us. It had its own private entrance and staircase with a separate lounge and bathroom giving it an apartment feel. Breakfast was delightful. You could pretty much have whatever you wanted - cooked to order. We spent most of the time on sun... more
A Birthday Vacation
Glad to see the Olive Tree Studios are now reviewed on trip advisor. We stayed for 4 nights June 2007, during an unexpected heat wave for that time of year. We rented a Jimmy Jeep (collected from the airport) the roads melted during our stay and the jeep did not like the heat. All good fun. Mustafa does offer airport transfer if you do not wish to rent a car. Booked direct after first finding accommodation via thomas cook web site. (To dateThomas Cook are only UK company offering these studios). Situated on the Kaya road,... more
Excellent stay at The Olive Tree
Excellent hotel. The accommodation was the best we've ever stayed in. We were in one of the attic rooms at the top (no four poster bed) but the room was huge. Jacuzzi bath lovely. Complementary slippers and bath robes was a nice touch. Also the free fruit. No need to take your own towels, as towels are provided with sun loungers. Rooms cleaned every day and they even come in after you've left in the evening to turn down your bedcovers and put the lights on for when you return. Now that's what I call service. Hotel owners and staff are... more
