DISGUSTED
Hotel tatty the smell of sewage all over including beach rats running round in day light and mosquitoes in there million 7 days of hell £1600 spent and I need a blood transfusion thanks to mosquitoes ALCUDIA is a dump.?
Good value for money
The mariner Club is ideal for families. An excellent pool amd play area for the children, though no life-guard. Very well planned around the pool. Entertainment most nights of a decent standard. Now for the down sides... there is a cost of £3.50. per child per session and you will need £20 to deposit with reception for the remote control for the T.V. there is also a charge for the air conditioning, which is essential because the mosquitoes are the largest and hungriest we have ever encountered!! Take loads of spray!! Do NOT use... more
very good, clean place to stay with very friendly, helpful staff.
It's the first review i've ever written but i checked this hotel out on here before i went and got mixed reviews although mostly good.As it was a 3* hotel i was expecting a very very basic room (as most of the 3* hotels ive been to in the past were very small) but was quite suprised at how spacious it was with a big bedroom and another big room with a tv and a kitchenet,Only two of us went but the rooms are more than big enough for family's. The staff were lovely ad very quick to help if and when you need it. The pool is not massive but a... more
brilliant family atmoshphere a home from home
I had not travelled abroad for a long time and my partner decided to treat me. We were a little dubious because of some past reviews we read but now im here to set the record straight. It was the most lovely place to stay in alcudia a fantastic oasis of relaxation and pleasure. Being a big kid i enjoyed the childrens entertainment and there was plenty for them to do its so safe and you could relax because its not a huge place where you have to run around tying to find them. The pool was fantastic, enough sun beds for everyone, and for food... more
Good place to stay and staff very helpful and friendly
Just got back from a weeks stay at the Mariner Club with my husband and two 14 year old girls. The apartment was spacious and the shower was very powerful and constant hot water, the maid came every other day and left the apartment spotloss, the only downside was the smell of drains which was quite strong at times. The bar staff are very friendly and the food is very good value for money. The location is ok about a good 10/15 mins walk to beach and main part with plenty of bars and restaurants. The pool is a good size and well kept, have to... more
The best yet..........(30 years travelling)
These apartments are very clean, and the bar staff are friendly. We bought our own food as and when needed, it was of high quality The kids can roam about even at night and are always in site, while you relax at the bar. The apartments are only two storeys high and everyone has their own door from outside, so there is no long noisy corridors outside your door. Every apartment has a pool view , which is very pleasant and pretty and the floor surrounding it is non-slip. Its ideal for wheelchairs and the place is flat... more
Shame about the damp...
After booking the holiday I was a bit worried after reading some bad reviews. When we initially got to the apartments we were not impressed. OK, we expected it to be basic but that does not mean the place should be falling appart! Cupboard doors were hanging off and electric sockets were hanging out of the wall. It was all bits and pieces that could have been easily fixed. Our whole stay was ruined by the overwhelming stench of damp. The back wall was constantly dripping wet, onto a matress which thankfully we didn't need however I... more
jack loved it
Have just returned from a weeks stay at The Mariners.Have never written a review before but because we used this site to check out The Mariners before we went, we felt it was only fair to contribute our opinions in case other families are doing the same. Basic accommodation but good value for money.Room was "L"shaped with 2 bed settees in the main area and a single bed in the "short leg".Looked like new fridge in the kitchen area, which was adequate for our needs.Excellent shower, really powerful and always loads of hot water.Apartments and... more
loved it.
My family and I stayed at the marnier club in Alcudia a few times, this is a great place for children and family's. the food is great and it is a very clean place to, the service is great. i only have great things to say about the marniers. there is a little walk to the beach , but so what you get to see about the place.
Loved it
Mariner's club are ideal apartments. although basic. They are very clean and all members of staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pool is perfect and a good size. There is always spare sunbeds. The pool bar is cheap. The apartments are in close proximity to the beach and the resort centre. Had a great holiday.
