SOS Cave Pansion

İ had a wonderful time at SOS Cave Hotel in Göreme, Cappadocia. After arriving very late in the evening, the hospitable proprieters were more than happy to give me a room, despite the hour. The rooms, set inside caves, are warm and welcoming, with heating both in the room and in the bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I had planned to stay two nights but the guys who run the place are so easy to be around and the bed is by far the most comfortable I have ever slept in while out wandering the world, I ended up staying four nights. The view is amazing, the food is great! The guys are full of knowledge not only about Cappadocia but other parts of Turkey as well. SOS is walking distance to town. We stayed for 4 nights and immediately felt at home. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Musa, and his staff, who all made us feel immediately at home. The staff were always attentive, but without being obtrusive. The rooms were quiet , clean and comfortable. The food delicious. And the view is amazing. The location is perfect for day trips. I highly recommend this hotel.

The SOS cave hotel was great! It is a short walk to the town center where there are stores and resaurants. It has a really spectacular view (which you can take in while eating breakfast). Breakfast was tasty and there was a variety food.

This hotel offers Goreme from your room itself. The rooms have a wrap around balcony & you have to just step out of your room to see the panorama. With the fairy chimneys looming large in front & the fairy lights of the Uchisar castle to the far left. 32Euro for a double occupancy, clean & airy rooms,quiet location yet very close to the town center...& extremely helpful staff. S.O.S Cave Pansion is indeed a hidden gem amongst the many that have sprung up in Goreme, Cappadocia. It is modestly furbished and not gawdy, and has a homely touch to it. There is a lot of space for young children to run, thus is great for travelling families. Every morning is an event in itself, where you get a panoramic view of hot-air balloons springing up like flowers over the large plateau from the open area. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - we arrived after flying all day from Denver to Kayseri and were not sure what to expect - We got in late and immediately met Musa, the operator of the facility. Immediately, we felt comfortable. We had a drink with him on the balcony while he told us about Cappadocia. Since we only had two days in the region and knew it was a lot of ground to cover, we hired him to be our tourguide - which was perhaps the best decision we made. We were recommended the SOS Cave Hotel by our travel agent in Goreme. Our first choice was booked out so we took this hotel. On arrival, early in the morning after an all night bus trip from Kusadasi, we were welcomed and offered coffee and breakfast. The views were just awesome. Our room was not ready as it was early morning, so our luggage was stored while we began our first day tour of the area. If you want a great little hotel at a bargain price, stay at the SOS Cave Pansion. We stumbled across this hotel purely by chance when we arrived in Goreme, picking it out at random from the plethora of hotel advertisements at the bustop tourist office.
