The good: The rooms are wonderful, spacious and very clean. The reception from Jooster (owner) is very warm with him taking the time to talk to you and offer you his knowledge. I believe our experience in Istanbul was enhanced by our stay at MiSafir, it felt very special... The bad: However, there was one drawback and that was the loud music at night ( and the day at times ) coming from the discos out the main street. I have never felt the need to write a review before but after staying at the Misafir Suites for a long weekend in May I simply had to share this wonderful experience. Joost the host was extremely friendly and helpful without being overbearing in anyway, from the start of my booking to the end of our stay I cannot praise his efforts more. We stayed 5 nights at the Misafir Suites in Istanbul. It was everything the reviews on this site promised, and more. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is amazing just off Istiklal Kaddesi, the "Oxford Street of Istanbul". The owner and staff were amazingly helpful. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed in anywhere in the world and very good value for money on top of all this. Wholeheartedly recommend that you stay nowhere else in Istanbul but at Misafir Suites!

My husband and i stayed in misafirsuites for 5 days in a trip last month.Is is located in the center of the vibrant istanbul.The service is great and very personalized with sensitive stuff.The room,i dont even know where to begin,is huge and chic and have a lot of soul with every gadget that you could need.Prices are very good when you look to other hotels in istanbul,which is shoking because not only it is better than any huge 5 star hotel it also includes everything in the price(breakfast,internet...).It was a very pleasant experience for... more

Our family just spent 6 nights in 2 suites at Misafir Suites. We cannot recommend this boutique hotel enough. LOCATION. The Misafir is perfectly located for tourism and leisure - in the lively heart of Beyoglu, a few steps from the main pedestrian thoroughfare Istiklal, a couple of short blocks away from Taksim Square, and surrounded by shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs for every taste and budget. In February we have been staying at Misafir for six nights. We enjoyed it very much. After soo many extremely positive reviews, you would expect that there it something that is less positive. But no, we have not found anything! We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely advise you to stay at Misafir too! See for details the review of Selizk. Could have been our review. Just back from an 8 night stay at Misafir Suites - utterly fantastic small (but with huge rooms) boutique hotel. We stayed at the MiSafir Suites for 3 nights with our three children in two rooms. Both rooms were as large and beautiful as the photos in the website (no deceptive advertising!). Furnishing, decorations and beds were all superior and comfortable. Joost and the staff were friendly, helpful and relaxed, made everyone feel at home. I just returned from a short trip to Istanbul. I stayed in a 700 sq foot room at the Misafir suites. I could not have asked for a better hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, beautifully decorated, with all the best amenities. Service was superb. Anything you could ask for was brought to your room immediately.
