Just arrived back from a brilliant holiday at the Alcudia Beach Hotel. The Pool Area is amazing - The Entertainment and Staff were Great - The Hotel and Location are Brilliant - And the Weather was fantastic. Minty (the Entertainer) is an asset to the Hotel, what more could I say - Overall A Brilliant Holiday for all ages from Teenagers to Grandma to young kids.

Just come back from hols and wishing we were still there. My husband, me and 15 year old son. We've been to the area a few times but our first time at this hotel. It has a really great pool with one part deep enough to actually swim in properly(better than the paddling pools you usually get). Plenty of sunbeds without having to get up at stupid times. Great breakfast buffet from 9 - 12 every day. As much as you wanted (and it was pretty good)including fruit juices,tea,coffee etc for 7 euros. Minty the entertainment bloke worked really hard keeping the kids entertained for hours-dont know where he found the energy. Evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss but we usually go out anyway so that was no prob. My only complaint was not much for teenagers on their own however Minty told us they were hoping to organise more for them next year. I would advise bringing a friend if you've a teenager on their own as a lot of young kids or older teens were there when we stayed.Will probably go back again 2009.

Just returned home this week from alcudia beach hotel,had a great time,very relaxed hotel,friendly staff and allround very clean.Rooms were basic but balcony was a good size.The pools were great for the kids as well as being warm,not enough sun beds at pool side,ended up sitting on chairs for a couple of days,not that bad as it was great weather.Pool Snack bar was good,also just minutes from shops,beach & resturants.Minty and the girls do a great job with the kids club in the day,from pool,vollyball,table tennis and all the swimming pool games,even drawing for the little ones.Evening entertainment was basic,but kids enjoyed it.A special thanks to minty for entertaining me and my family for the time we were there,would recommend hotel to anyone with young children.Hope to see you again all the very best ( NUTTY )

Brilliant hotel, brilliant staff. Just come back on 7/7/08 we couldn't have hoped for a better hotel considering the money we paid. Great location just across road from the gorgeous beach and shops all around. Never ate in the hotel and Minty got on our nerves a bit as he is a loud mouthed cockney but other than that cannot fault him. He loves kids and does everything to make sure they have a great time. He does go around the pool every moring at 10am taking towels off beds if anyone has reserved a sunbed. This hotel is an all british hotel and is great value for money. Having a refurb at end of season.

Just returned from 2 weeks in this fantastic hotel with my Wife and 2 sons aged 2 and 5, the Hotel was fantastic, the pool was great for kids, and great when the water guns came out, you could get a sunbed any time of day, it was a total british Hotel (yeeeehhhhh) Minty the hotel entertainer was great, it was a safe enviroment at night in the hotel bar were the kids could run around and i could relax with a drink, Alcudia was very expensive and always check your bill at the restraunts as loads added extra drinks on. 10/10 for the beach, don't go to Alcudia if your young and single, its a family resort, favourite restraunt was Roma on the strip. packed every night,

Just arrived back from a fortnight at the Alcudia Beach had a great time. My ten year old son thought the hole place was wonderful. Minty the entertainment manager was excellent he needs some extra staff though so that he can have a break sometimes. The apartment was very clean, the whole reception area was clean and the staff were amazing not a bad word to say about any of it. Great fun for all the family especially the kids and if they are happy then so are we.

Me and my family went to this hotel in may.Although the weather wasnt that great we still had a fantastic time.my 3 children are aged 4,8,11 and they all really enjoyed it.Rooms are very basic and could do with a lick of paint but are clean,the maid service is very good and come in everyday except wednesdays and sundays.The Alcudia beach is located in a very good position where you can walk up into the port which i must say is lovely or into the more lively bit.I must comment on the lively end there is touts coming up to you all of the time and it does get a little annoying.We found one BRILLIANT place to eat and that is called foxes bar,you go to the top of the road out of the hotel and turn left its just a short walk away,the food is all english and absolutely gorgeous.We would deffinatly return to this hotel in the future.

me and my parter aged 19 and 21 just returned from alcudia beach apartments!dont get me wrong the hotel was absulutly gorgeous the hotel reception staff and bar staff were all very friendly and happy to help!my one complaint ould be the absolute paper thin walls, we could here people in the hallways at all times and the people above us and above them decided to move as much furniture as possible and stomp 24/7! the hotel i would say is mainly for family groups we were one of the few couples there! i would'nt recommend this hotel to youngsters on holiday to have some peace and fun! the hotel entertainer minty...yes he seemed a bit pompus on first impressions but he was the life and soul of the hotel, always coming up with daytime activities by the pool (which was one of the best ive seen, little cold though) such as waterfights, water polo, pool competitions and tried his hardest to keep everyone smiling in the evening! there is a literally 2 minute walk to the beach which is miles long and 10 mins from the main strip!you do get hassled a lot by pr's to go eat of drink at their places but if ur lucky u'll find the few bars that are awesom to name a few..kaos (good for the young) goodfellows (such a great atmosphere) and white rose (gorgeous quaity cheap food) if you do come here make sure you bring plenty of money as the only thing cheap are tax free fags!however if u do get the chance to go to the son amar diner show and the pirates dinner show then they are more than worth your money and time, both spectacular!in alcudia port you can go on a boat adrenalin ride called the crazy shark....another opportunity not to miss!the place is fantastic with so much to do all the time, but as i said, the hotel isnt suitable for young couples!

Our party of 16 aged between 4 - 75 stayed for a week from 27 may - 3 June 2008. Rooms were more than adequate and the hotel's main area was kept clean and tidy. Reception staff were plesent, however it would make it easier if bar staff had a better understanding of english, we spent alot of time pointing to the menu. The pool was freezing and looks much bigger in the photo than it really is. If you have little ones be very careful as there is a 5 foot drop when you walk into the bigger pool. Sadly the weather wasn't fantastic during our stay but we joined in with the daytime activities. Had a laugh playing killer pool with MINTY and found the kids/adult water fight hysterical. You certainly need a sense of humour!! Kids are a priority at this hotel and this is another strength. The Snack Bar and main restaurant were adequate but the main dining room took ages to serve your meal, however, it is worth the wait. Very little choice on the menu though.
Evening entertainment was again provided by MINTY and he did his best to keep everyone amused. He made a huge effort to engage with the pensioners in our party and we appreciated this. Thanks MINTY. I think he is the hotel's greatest asset and they need to recognise this and give him some staff to support his work.
The beach is 5 minutes walk from hotel and it is beautiful. The best bars are about ten minutes walk away and cater for all age ranges. Alcudia is now very very expensive so ensure you take plenty money as you will need it.

Me and 10 other young people stayed at the alcudia beach. The rooms were very clean and Towels were changed nearly everyday. unfortunately the weather was not all that nice plus the pool is freezing. Minty the hotel entertainer was very irritating he would always come up to us when we were sunbathin to have a chat also his night time entertainment was a mirror image of the TV show benidorm.
The hotel bar was reasonably priced.
It is a 2 minuite walk to the beach where u can hire pedlows ect.
The rep Lisa was very rude and threatened to throw our party out of the hotel and cancel our flight because we came in so late at night (obviously they shouldnt have let a group of young people book into a family hotel).
It is a very family orientated resort and great for kids. although when it comes to nightclubs and pubs it is not so good. young girls should be careful when going to nightclubs as the spanish men can be very intimiating ( Avoid MAGIC nightclub). We found that bells nightclub was a good laugh and also Goodfellas bar.
The food was lovely everywhere we ate, apart from a little spanish cafe called APOLLO !! the food was auful not recommended !! .
We did Enjoy our holiday although it could have been a bit more lively and the weather wasnt great. i would recommed visitin alcudia during july and august as the weather before that is not great.

We found the hotel very enjoyable to stay in, the staff were excellent and all spoke and understood English. The rooms were clean and a decent size and had air-conditioning which was appreciated in the heat. The pool area was fantastic with a large deep(ish) pool for the adults and older children to mess about in, a large shallower pool which people were lazing about in and a small paddling pool for the very young children.
The entertainment was very good with the tiny tots disco (aimed at 0-6 year olds), which our 20 month old daughter danced to every night and thought it was the bees knees. This went on for about 15 minutes then it was quiz/bingo/open the box unless there was a outside performer on. These ranged from the parrot show (very good), reptile show (very good), birds of prey (very good until the birds had a fight to the death), magician (good) and a couple of singers (not my cup of tea but some people enjoyed them).
We thought Minty was excellent and he put more effort into entertaining people in the day and the night on his own than other teams we have seen, he also offers sensible advice about the area and what to do and look for, if asked.
Overall it was an excellent holiday, we would fully recommend it. We would have given it 10 points if the beds were more comfortable.

Returned from our 2 weeks holiday at alcudia beach apartments last week and already waiting to return again next year. What a great place to stay - great location, just a short walk to a fabulous beach, some great restaurants that serve fantastic freshly cooked food as appose to the normal microwaved rubbish that we have previously experienced during previous holidays.
The hotel itself is just fabulous, from reception staff to entertainment, they deliver nothing but the best customer service. The rooms although are a little on the 'tired' side are adequate for sleeping and chilling in the mornings and evenings and are kept clean.
We took the whole family this year, ranging from 12 years up to 25 years old and were concerned that there wouldn't be enough to keep the whole family amused, but how wrong could we be, mainly thanks to Minty who is great with all ages - from keeping law and order (yes there really was control over hogging the sun beds - a first in my expereince), to providing great entertainment in the evenings - this guy deserves a medal ('Mr Alcudia beach' is not to be misssed).
The reception and bar staff were great, all spoke very good English and worked extremeley hard to make sure that everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable time and were obviosly a happy and well managed team. Well done guys and look forward to seeing you again next year.

This was our second visit to the Alcudia Beach Aparthotel, as we had enjoyed it so much last year. The location is excellent, five mins walk to the beach, lots of great places to eat, such as Roma, Luna's Grill, White Rose to name but a few.
Trouble is this time we had a lot of problems with noisy neighbours. The walls are paper thin, and I think above us we had clog dancers, and to the side of us we had a family who were doing their best to open every cupboard door and drawer and slam them shut as hard as they could, and drag furniture all over the place.
We were not the only ones talking about the noise situation, many people were moaning about it around the pool. Main problem were when "younger folks" were coming in early in the morning very merry, they were not considering that us "older folks" were in bed trying to sleep. In the fortnight stay, I did not get one good nights sleep, which spoilt the holiday.
The "entertainment"- well, Minty tries his best, but it certainly wasn't our or our kid’s cup of tea. We did watch a professional show of Spanish Dancers that I did enjoy, shame some in the audience were talking loudly and not giving the act the respect it should have.
The decor in the hotel is now very tired, and personally needs a revamp, we had sheets with stains on and towels with holes in, certainly not as good as last year, and we love Alcudia itsself so we will return, but not to Alcudia Beach.

Terrible holiday. The entertainment is the worse you will ever see. Minty the one man band is big headed, not funny and his style is very close to being bully boy entertainment. The girl who runs the kids club is there for a job in Spain and that's it. How anyone can find this guy entertaining is beyond me. If you like 1970s style hi-de-hi then this is for you, if not stay away.
