Four Seasons Istanbul at the Bosphorus

I recently stayed six nights at the Four Seasons Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey. From the moment I arrived to the sad day I left, I was treated like royalty. This was true even as actual Jordanian and Moroccan royalty were at the hotel! This property is less than one year old. The upsides are all obvious as one walks through the hotel: glittering spaces, attentive staff, awe-inspiring facilities. Just returned from 1 night at the 4 seasons. Had previously stayed at the 4 seasons in cyprus but comes no where near the class and quality of the istanbul one. The lobby with its enormous orchid displays is beautiful and we had a huge room with a bathroom that you could lose yourself in. Only moan wld be no view from the room and aqua restaurant staff a little full of themselves but on the whole faultless. as others say, its the sort of place you need to spend some time in to enjoy the surroundings. loved the little touches like umbrellas... more

My wife and I have seen numerous 4 Seasons worldwide, but we enjoyed this one most. Absolutely stunning location, directly at the Bosphorus, with huge terrace and beautiful outside pool area. It’s located in Besiktas which is a great location for Istanbul. The old city is quite far during heavy traffic, but no big deal. A boat transfer between the two 4 seasons is in planning for next year, that will be great as it will bring you directly to the old city. excellent service ,great location and views ,though perhaps a little out of town if thats where you want to hang out all the time.Even though its not cheap the facilities ,restaurant ,pool and service make this a great place and probably now more difficult to book ,it has more of a boutique feel than its neighbor the kempinsky

This Four Seasons is fabulous! Very relaxing. Good food. Top-notch service. Only drawback is no water view. We loved our room. Highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights here in September.The service was outstanding.The room was their most basic but it was very large and well appointed.Turn down was a treat to come back to,it was done so well. The rear end of the Hotel which should really be called a resort is where you could spend most of your trip. We ate at the Aqua restaurant outside over looking the Bosphorous.The food and service for dinner there was just so attentive (to detail) and tasty,it was excelent in a word! This was a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a great location. and the service is impeccable. Both the outdoor and indoor swimming pools are amazing. The service is great. whatever you ask for will be provided. Average rooms are ok. Great size and very nice bathrooms. Not so imaginative decoration however. If you can afford go for the ones with the view. On the down side, the hotel is so so nice you don't want to leave it. This can be a small problem in city such as Istanbul with so much to see. My husband and I stayed at the Four Seasons Bosphorous for three nights on the first leg of our two-week honeymoon. The property is brand new and pretty much purpose built. We had a junior suite, which was incredibly spacious and functional, as well as having undisturbed views of the Bosphorus and (in the distance) of Sultanhamet. While you will need a taxi to go to most places, location is ideal. On the Bosphorus with great views, 10-15 mins to Sultanahmet, 5-10 minutes to Taksim, 15-20 minutes to Levent. Stayed at the Bosphorus Four Seasons for 3 nights after staying at the Sultanahmet location for 5 nights. While the Sultanahmet location is perfectly located to see the sights, the Bosphorus location is better suited for just relaxing and enjoying this beautiful property.
