The actual apartment complex was basic,very small but spotlessly clean and pleasant. the pools were ok and the kids pool was good and quite big.my two year old daughter had loads of other children to play with and my 12 yr old went on the internet quite a lot in the bar area. the supermarket was well stocked but slightly more expensive than the rest and the girls working here were really miserable. we didnt eat at the bar but from what i can gather this was also very basic. the entertainment was sometimes poor and sometimes quite good,for instance,one night there was a Robbie tribute singer who was quite good but then another night there were 3 females dressed in frilly leotards and head bands,one was singing the theme from the titanic while staring into space while the other two pranced around like two drunken ballet dancers(it did make us laugh though,especially when some people were actually videoing it!) the maids were really pleasant and very clean and we always had loads of clean towels. there was lots of scraping of chairs and the sprinklers woke us up about 4 am every morning,i dont know why but they were really loud. there wasnt much in calan blanes but everyone used to walk into calan forcat which is about 10 minutes away and is a safe,pleasant walk.HOWEVER,this resort was awful! it was basically a miny Blackpool and had everything that myself and my husband hate to find on holiday...English pubs with huge telivision screens,Irish pubs,bingo,bouncy castles,go carts spar supermarkets everywhere and worst of all karioke! there was nothing Spanish about this resort whatsoever.even the tapas restaurants were rubbish! we only had two nice meals in 13 nights,one was at the steakhouse and the other was at 'Es Forn' which was lovely but it was busy so we had to wait quite a bit. there were no nice shops,only supermarkets that sold the usual tack! having said all that,we had a nice holiday because our two year old loved it! she loved the trampolines next to the bars and in almost every restaurant there was a kids play area. this resort is geared around people with young children and who arnt really bothered about soaking up the Spanish atmosphere. Would we go again? No! not unless it was free!

Fantastic holiday. Have been 3 times now in the last 2 years. Reception staff excellent, Bar staff excellent, pool spotless, complex clean and well maintained, accomadation has everything you need for a self catering holiday. And the weather fantastic.
Tried to book again for this year but could not find a tour operator. Contacted them on 6th May and they are now working with an Italian tour operator (only taking Italian guests this summer). If anyone wishes to book with them next year they said they will probably except direct bookings for May and October only, and have said that I can contact them at the end of September for more information.

Went to these apartments last year. Our third time!! Our teenage son thoroughly enjoyed all the entertainment and activities so we all had a fantastic holiday. Staff very helpful, especially Miguel the Animacion! Very good with all ages. Apartments and whole complex very well maintained, very clean. Felt very safe there and not too close to anything too commercial. Although it was only a short walk if you wanted shops, etc.
Desperately wanted to go again this year but have been unable to find any tour operator using the apartments and their existence seems to have been removed from the face of Menorca - even by their own chain of hotels! Came within touching distance on Wednesday 5 March - Direct Holidays had availability on the web, but the system went down. Tonight there was no availability at all. Rang DH who said the accommodation had been cancelled, I think they're honouring bookings already made. BUT if anyone is able to tell me how to book at these apartments .....

Surrounded by lovely woodland Cala n Blanes Beach Apartments are family friendly and well equipped for a self catering holiday.
Very peaceful area with still plenty to do, such as Swimming pool with children's section, gardens, restaurant, pool bar, playground, tennis courts, table tennis, bicycle hire. and just a short walk from the sandy beach and a choice of restaurants and shops.
The resort centre is approx 3km away and offers a wider selection of shops, bars, and restaurants. lovely stay will definitely go again.

My husband, 2 children (10) & (8) and myself had a great family holiday. The staff Angel, Miguel and June were all very friendly and helpful. The maids were fantastic and the whole staff were brilliant.
We found the accomodation roomy and clean and the pool was spotless. The complex and pool was cleaned and maintained daily. We paid an excellent price and expected to be unhappy about some things... we weren't.
The kids were kept busy throughout the day with activities run on site. Another bonus was the food... again it was excellent with a good variety.
Within a stones throw was Calan Blanes beach with a lovely beach bar called the Pirates, again staff were friendly and helpful. You only had to walk 10 mins if you wanted to go to the shops and nightlife which was in Calan Forcat.
We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Had a really great holiday. Made very welcome, nice and quiet just what we wanted. Apartments excellent and food very good.
Would recommend Mr Beps a locals bar just a short stroll away, don’t let the area put you off, and it’s where the locals live!!
Plenty of room around the pools and plenty of sun beds. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Well recommended.
A good all round holiday.

It was a great holiday had by all. Myself and 10 year old child plus two other adults and their kids.
The apartments are very well kept and each one has a balcony over looking the pool. we had maid service 3 times in one week which was very impressive.
The pool was very clean (in fact the cleanest have seen). There was a restaurant by the pool with a good variety and also very clean.
Nearest town 10 minute walk and lots of bars and shops in town. There were even games organised for the kids during the day.
It was a great holiday and would definitely go back.

Anyone going to these apts, you are in for a delight.
They are close to the beach, grounds and pool are spotless, girl who runs the supermarket is English, all staff are friendly.
All locals are friendly, just had two weeks of bliss, go enjoy!

I (21) and my girlfriend (20) stayed here w/c 14/5/07 - 21/05/07.
The complex itself is very clean and well layed out. The rooms were also clean and we had maid service 3 times in the week that we were staying there. The pool was lovely and clean as was the surrounding area.
There is also a decent hard surface tennis court and shop on the complex along with the entertaining pool bar and restaurant.
Cala n Blanes has a nice small beach, only 1 minute away from the complex. May I suggest that you try the pirate beach bar, as the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and it is a lovely place to wine and dine.
About 10 minutes walk away is Cala'n Forcat (please excuse any spelling errors there!) This resort is full of bars and restaurants to cater for all sorts of food lovers. Also there are bus stops and a taxi rank which will allow you to travel to Citudella if you don't hire a car.
All in all, we have had a lovely experience here and I only wish we had booked 2 weeks instead of the 1.

What value for money! Cala N Blanes Beach appts are an ideal break from work for a week in May! Me and my girlfriend went here in 2006, and when we left we could not believe how much we underestimated this place. Cala N Blanes itself, may not be a bustling hive of nightlife but if you care to take a 15 minute stroll into Cala N Forcat, you are able to have a decent meal followed by some beers and cocktails.
The complex itself is clean and tidy with very helpful reps about (even if they aren't with the tour operator that you booked with!). The pool is cleaned every morning, and we had maid service four times out of seven which is of a very good standard. There are plenty of activities for families with kids, but if like me and my girlfriend you are in your early twenties, there is also the option of catching a bus for a short journey into Cuitadella be it day or night.
Top hol, and accommodation is highly recommendable.

These apartments were much better than we expected, a 5 min walk to the local beach, which was quite small, but kept clean but did get busy.
The apartments were kept very clean and maids came every day, the pool was cleaned every day. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The apartments were within good walking distance of town, and bus stop round the corner if you want to go a bit further afield.
Overall very nice spacious apartments, would go again.

It was an excellent hotel. We loved everything about this hotel.
It was so clean and tidy. Food was brill and so much choice. Hotel staff we so helpful and kind and pleasant. Rooms were airy and big but a bit basic. Pillows were not that good but what can you say, it is a hotel.
Entertainment was brilliant, there is everything to do during the day and a lot to do at night. Their was live shows every night and bingo. Children's mini disco and ceci and jo work there socks off to keep the children amused, they where so good.
Pool was always clean and tidy and plenty of sun beds but pool was sometimes cold. There was never any plastic cups lying about.
The bar was brill. It was always stocked up with drink and soft drink and always kept things moving and they were always polite.
Beach was lovely and tidy, but they do have a problem with jelly fish once they are in there is no going back for about a day. But there is a flag system just get used to it.
Altogether this hotel was an excellent stay and we would go back sometime in the year to come!

We took my two grand children 20 months and 3 my daughter and wife we had a great time the complex is everything you need for a family holiday we hired a car for the two weeks which was a godsend.
The island is very special indeed if you are looking for good food in most of the cafes then this is for you as there are plenty of good restaurants and cafes about.
If you want night life and discos then go to Majorca as Menorca is a very quite reserved island we as a family have nothing but good things to say about our holiday in Menorca

We had 2 fantastic wks in these apartments the pool was always clean plenty of sun beds no having to get up early to reserve beds.
Apartments clean and spacious. Plenty to do a short walk to Cala n Forcat where there are plenty of restaurants and play areas for children.
We hired a car and traveled around the island and found fantastic beaches. Would return to these apartments and recommend to anyone a fantastic holiday was had by myself husband and 2 children.
