Venus Hotel

For our 2-night stay in Pamukkale, we chose Venus Hotel based on the recommendation in Lonely Planet. It is a warm and friendly place. The owner Ibrahim and his parents were very helpful, giving us rides and making arrangements for excursions. The dining room is very cozy, we got to meet other guests over dinner. Our bedroom was lovely with hot water all the time! During our ten day visit to Turkey, we stayed in many different B&Bs. I must stay this was an experience we remember most fondly.

We spent March 29th and 30th at Venus hotel. Ibrahim and family are first class. The hotel is very nice and clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is wonderful. very homey. Mom's cooking is also great. It was my daughter's birthday and they got a cake, candle and all which was a great touch and nice surprise.

This guest house lived up to all the reviews given it on Trip Advisor! We were picked up at the bus station in Denzili and driven back to the guest house. The room for our family of four was clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The owners were warm and wonderful sources of information. We purchased the supper plan and ate the best meal that we had on our trip. It was truly an authentic home cooked Turkish meal. The breakfast was wonderful and we were sorry that we had only spent one night at the Venus. Truly a gem!

This is a little 'hidden gem' in a lovely location, very close to Pamukkale and other important sites. There is a charming courtyard with masses of comfortable chairs and sofas and where a lovely breakfast is served. The owner and staff are very friendly. In a nutshell the Venus was everything that we wanted. Our room on the third floor had a balcony that gave us views to the Travertines, it was spotlessly clean & very comfortable, and....quaint! The "Family" were just that, a family to all their guests- nothing was too much of a bother even with guests everywhere and renovations happening. Our travel agent suggested Venus Hotel as an option when recent visitors to their usual "big" spa hotel in Pamukkale reported problems. We were impressed with the other TripAdvisor reviews and had her book us in . We were very happy with our choice. Down a side street with other home-like small hotels, it was still easy to locate--just follow the signs. Our itinerary said that we had paid for lunch, but no one had told us where. We stayed in the Venus Hotel just for 1 night. We thought the place was amazing and wished we could have stayed longer. We arrived really early in the morning and nothing was a problem for Karyn as she sorted everything out. Place is really clean, nice pool and great chill out area. Food is just super. One of the best places we stayed in Turkey and one of the most friendly. Well worth phoning ahead and booking if you are in this area of Turkey. Sean and Irene

This Hotel is very cosy. I spent 4 night during the month of july with my girlfriend. Rooms are clean. Nice beds, shower and toilettes. Swimming pool is a nice part of the hotel to have a nap and appreciate the wonderfull weither of Turkey. The personal of the hotel is very nice and professional, and good for lots of people, they are speaking english. we were very grateful for the shuttle service to the side of the area so we had more energy to walk around it. I recommend it for a nice stay for couples.

Having researched on this forum and taken advice of other respected forum members - we booked this hotel directly for 2 nights in August. We had 1 room for us and 1 room for the kids - lovely rooms overlooking the pool. The rooms were spotless and clean and the hotel was quiet at night and the free internet access was great. As we arrived in the village and slowed the car to analyse where our selection of hotels might be, the owner of the Venus (the father) started harassing us to stay at his place. We moved the car away, but he followed, hollering in the car. He kept dropping the price, and we realised that the Venus Hotel was on our shortlist anyway, so we accepted.
