Tuntas Apart Hotel Kusadasi

stayed here for 1 week self catering hotel was lovely and clean pool was great large rooms cannot fault it only problem is the steep hill but locations fantastic not many shops in thar area you have to get a taxi to the other part for any shops water park was brilliant have been to turkey 6 times all different parts but was not keen on kusadasi prefer oludeniz and marmaris areas but the hotel was fine

Stayed at the Tuntas Aparthotel from 27th Sept - 4th Oct 2007. Perfect holiday! Accommodation basic, but in the nice sence of basic. Very clean, towels and sheets changed at least 3 times during our week. Location is excellent, near enough to the action but far enough away for a quiet holiday. Situated on a VERY steep hill, ok to walk down but not back up, as mum has arthritis in her knee. Taxi back from Ladies Beach area was 5YTL (about £2) so not breaking the bank at all! Taxi into Kusadasi was 8YTL (about £3) so you can't grumble at that. Pool area was excellent, all staff cannot do enough to help you and make your stay a good one. A perfect holiday, at a bargain price! Would not hesitate to return again, and hope to do so in the near future! Thank you Tuntas.

This was one of the best holidays i have ever had, the apartments pool is lovely, however the self catering is very basic.

3 forks, 3 knives, 3 plates, and a plug in electric hob.

this is all good if you want to live on pasta and eggy bread for a week, but not good for other things. you also must supply own cloths and tea towels. apart from that, the staff were very nice, the bar man was beautiful and the pool was gordeous. ideal location, right next to the beach, and the bus for the centre of town.

My boyfriend and I spent 10 nights at Tuntas in June and were very impressed. The appartment was quite big (esp for just the 2 of us) with everything we needed and very good standard for 3* basic apartment. We had a large balcony as they all do which overloked the pool which was nice. People have moaned about the mosque which does indeed go off 5 times a day but u really do get used to it and have to respect the fact that it is a muslim country after all. The main thing is the hotel is just far enough up the hill so u don't hear any music from ladies beach yet it is only a short 5 min walk away. Also the hill people moan about - yes it is v steep and but there are steps which makes it easier and it isn't that long so it really wasn't so bad. The staff at tuntas were lovely, couldn't do enough for us and didn't hassle us at all. Hotel was extremely clean, they cleaned rooms and made beds everyday which was great. We booked a couple of day trips from Marseya's second one down on left on way to the beach, the guy there is called Murat and became a good friend. He wont rip u off and will give good advice. We found prices varied a lot in restaurants but Rosy's was v reasonable and the food excellent. The centre of Kusadasi is not far on the bus which is only 1.5lira or we walked it a couple of times only takes 25mins and its a bit more lively if u get bored of ladies beach. All in all we had a brilliant holiday and Tuntas was brilliant - no complaints at all.

We stayed for two weeks in August 2007, upon a long delay from the UK arrived at 4.30am, so we were absolutely shattered, got a porter grabbing our bags upon arrival at hotel, and expected a tip!!! and stood until he got one> we got into our rooms, at 5am, just dropping off and awoke to this "noise" it was the mosque opposite our room> but you get used to it, it goes off FIVE times a day and find you "dont hear it", rooms basic, but we only use these as a base for the obvious, kitchen equip, needs a "good wash in my opinion", but ok! rooms very basic and towels were getting a little "threadbare" but we always take plenty anyway, we NEVER had any noise we were on the top floor, i think room 226> pool fantastic plenty of room and enough sun beds for everyone, hotel food, was very bland, but so is everywhere in the resort, (turkish people dont season their cookin) bathroom, plenty og hot water, never ran cold, basic facilities, if there is one TIP i can give is to take a PLUG, muslim people, consider it dirty to sit in water therefore didnt have any plugs in bathroom> staff VERY polite and helpful, i asked for extra pillow and were sent up immediately> poolside bar staff, great bunch of fellows, not at all what we were expecting, Down the hill to Ladies Beach is a little hike upwards, got a dodgy knee so got a taxt a few nights, 5 lira, well worth it. husband had turkish shaves every other day, down the hill beach facing you, and turn left, right along sea front, up the hill, and half way up on your right, (if you cant find it ask a waiter, he will show you - and get you a good deal, shave, 5 lira, food, CONNEXIONS, id ok, we had our wedding anniversary out there and had a FANTASTIC meal in SHERWOODS, three courses, wine, cocktails for three people etc etc 35 lira> very cheap, the biggest and best TBone steak i have ever had> on the whole we didnt want to leave the tuntas, we will definately be back the turkish people are the friendliest people, (yeah they want your money) but we had the BEST holiday and will be definately be visiting the TUNTAS again, recommeded, to all ages, and suits everyone

This was the third time we had stayed there. Staff are very helpfull. The hill that it sits on is steep not good if you have any disability. The pool is big enough and plenty sunbeds. They will try and accomadate you if you have a preference for a certain floor level. We found these apartments were good if you have kids as they are far enough from the centre of town so noise levels are not an issue.

i loved the place...staff are so friendly and the place is so claen and the staff would bend over backwards to help you....ideal location many coplain about the hill but its not so bad!!

We drove down the driveway to the hotel and thought what the hell is this? it's down a sort of mud track and we thought we were being taken for a ride! Five hours later we had realised that it was a very good hotel in an ideal location. two minutes walk from a great beach with loads of nice restaurants and bars. had a great time and would recomend to anyone-ideal for families.
