The Central Palace Hotel

We stayed at the Central Palace for four nights. It is a very modern hotel in a great location (Taksim Square). The reception staff were very nice. The room was great--very large, with a wonderful shower/jacuzzi/sauna combo. There was free wireless internet, which didn't work all the time but was pretty good. Breakfast was fabulous--everything was great, and there was a very wide selection. if you want small but excelent hotel in istanbul dont think twice chose central palace.thay have large rooms and otoman style decoration.you feel like YOUR LUXERY HOME..

This hotel is by far the best boutique hotel I have ever stayed at in a big city - and the value for money is undisputable. I still can't believe they don't charge more! The feeling of luxury is just fantastic, and the quietness in a large and otherwise noisy city like Istanbul is hard to beat. This hotel is right by Taksim Square, which means you just walk right into all the action. The hotel is on a quiet street, even though it took us 1 minute to get to Taksim Square! I have been there last year and only recently (while looking for a recommendation on another hotel) remembered to commend the hotel for the great vacation in Istanbul. The hotel is very plesent, well designed and in mint condition. We took the basic room and it was h-u-g-e! the rooms are in very high standart, and contain great facilitis we sure did not expect- flat screen TV, double size beds, jacuzzi-bath, robes and flipflops, and a tiny balcony. This is a small boutique hotel on a relatively quiet street of fTaksim Square. We had a regular room which was quite small, although the bathroom seemed to have been recently upgraded and was quite luxurious. The front desk staff was a bit cold, very quiet and hard to understand. We never got a wake up call we requested. They do not cash traveler's checks, although a bank is pretty close by. It was fine, but with all the choices of hotels in Istanbul, we wouldn't stay here again.

I just came back from Istanbul where I stayed at the lovely Central Palace Hotel for 4 days to celebrate my 50th birthday. I really loved this hotel. I was upgraded to a special room, which was huge, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was a twin room, with a large couch and a working area. The room had a fitness bycicle ( which I didn't use beacuse I am a bit lazy, lol). The bathroom was large, filled with marble, a jacuzzi tub, great quality and large towels, sleepers and nice robes. very good location on a quiet strret in Taksim. Amazing rooms with jacizzu in the bathroom, very clean. Only real downside is the breakfast.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. It is very clean, standard room is spacious and the service is great. It is located in the business district/ the newer part of the city (Taksim Square).
