Ramos Hotel

We have just returned form a 2 week stay in the Ramos Hotel in Hisaronu and i thought i would write a review as there are not that many on here. We booked late (A week before!) and because of this we did not expect much in terms of accomadation but it was just to get away from the weather in England. This was a good hotel. The bedrooms were simple, but spacious and clean. Some rooms do have tvs but they only offer the basic channels. The hotel was in a good location so only a short walk into Hisaronu and the Monday market. There are plenty of restaurants near by to choose from as well. The hotel had a good sized pool with plenty of sunbeds. They also have a good garden bar with plenty of comfy seats to chill out on in the evenings with reasonably priced drinks and there is also a free pooltable. Would definately use this hotel... more

We a family of three have just returned from a fab holiday at the Ramos hotel. Expect a nice, relaxing holiday here. The views from the hotel are so nice, green lush mountains and the pool view was just as good. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you especially shaggy on reception and imiet who worked so hard doing virtually ever job going. Wow what a perfect hotel! Great location for a start, just at the top end of village so easy walking distance to all the bars/restaurants. Great pool area with loads of sunbeds and a great pool bar. The main bar in the hotel is fab! Huge with Pool table/darts boards, internet access, bar so good people from other hotels/villas regularly come to sit in the oversized beanbags and sample the cheap cocktails! We stayed at the Ramos for two weeks in August 2006. The hotel is lovely spotlessy clean. Its is ideally located within walking distance to Hisaronu or a short dolmus ride to Olu Deniz and Fethiye. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a lastminute deal through Tapestry who sadly went out of business during our stay. The Tapestry staff however remained kind helpful and professional at all times. This was our first visit to Turkey, and I have to say it will defintely not be our last. We had the most wonderful holiday at the Ramos, it was one of the most relaxing, peaceful hotels we have ever stayed in, the staff were just so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, it's quite hard to describe just how great the place is. We feel we have found a little gem with the Ramos, a great place to go for an odd week or two, as you know as soon as you step foot into the bar that fantastic wind-down will begin. We holidayed at the Ramos from the 13th July 2007 for 2 weeks. We were a party of 23 in total. This was our first visit to Turkey but a lot of our group are regular visitors. I thought the hotel was lovely, peacful, and very clean. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were welcomed to the hotel with drinks provided on the house. i have been to this part of Turkey many times and love it. i always want to go to different places but this is one i could go to again and again. The room was spacious ( we had three proper beds) and everywhere was very clean and tidy. The location could not be better - there is a small amount of nightlife and plently of restaurants but they are a couple of minutes walk down the road so it can be avoided if you preffer. We have been visitors of Ramos since 1992, when Hisaronu was but a tiny village with no street lighting! and local farmers drove their cattle down the street. Although we have'nt visited every year, it still remains our firm favourite.Once you are inside the hotel it is just pure peace and tranquility,with beautiful views up the mountainside.Everywhere is spotlessly clean, and comfortable, and the staff so kind. My friend and I returned from the Ramos yesterday...we had a fabulous holiday! I couldn't find any reviews for the hotel so we had no idea what it would be like. We booked our holiday through Tapestry (the Ramos is a Tapestry only hotel) only a few days before flying. We received a call from them by 9.05 the following morning saying our tickets were on their way.
