Lycian Dreams Apart Hotel

My husband and I recently stayed at the Lycian Dreams Apart Hotel in one of the 'Junior suites'. We used the hotel as our base for a trekking holiday walking the Lycian Way, so stayed for several days at the beginning and the end. We have no complaints at all with the hotel. Everything was beautifully presented, clean and tasteful with a bathroom to british standards - not something you find everywhere in Turkey . We feel it also represents exceptional value for money. Stayed here early October. First the appartments. It is difficult to review them fairly as your expectations are raised by the great reviews given by other travellers. The apartments are large. It has a Kitchen/sitting room. The sitting room has a sofa, table and chair. Nice sliding doors and looks out on to the quiet pool. Lycian Dream or Turkish Nightmare? Lycian Dreams is a really nice hotel set in a beautiful location. The apartment we were given was very spacious, with a large bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath. The bedroom was huge with a large, albeit, very hard, bed. There was a TV (with SKY) a fridge, kettle and toaster. Just returned from two totally relaxing weeks staying at the Lycian Dreams Hotel in Olu Deniz. The accommodation could not be faulted, its location excellent, easy walking distance to the beach and lagoon as well as the shops, bars and restaurants(which are plentiful and very good). The dolmas (bus) stops right outside the hotel and for a few ytl you can travel in to Hissonaru or Fethiye, both busy resorts with even more shops and restaurants. Just got back from a 2 week trip to Turkey where we stayed at Lycian Dreams for 6 nights. Overall we had a nice time but thought I should write a review for the junior suites since all other reviews are for the apartments. The junior suites are just like regular hotel rooms however there was a mini-fridge which was great for storing some small snacks and drinks. Recently had the most wonderful holiday at Lycian Dreams. Olu Deniz is a gorgeous resort but the holiday was made into what it was by the accommodation we stayed in. We really like self catering and as these are the only self catering apartments in Olu Deniz, we had just what we needed. This is the first time I've felt the need to add a comment regarding our holiday, as it was such an overall great place to stay, see and visit. The apartments were in a fantastic location, 5 mins from the beach, 10 mins from the lagoon with easy access to Hisseronu. I have just returned from Olu Deniz and the Lycian Dreams apartments. To say I was happy with my stay would be an understatment, the family owned apartments were imaculate and clean. Our apartment was spacious and cleaned daily it was right next to the pool area which was quiet and well maintained. The staff were very polite and helpful offering us great food and drink from the resteraunt at the poolside or you could walk just several meters away into the open air resteraunt and bar. As I am 6 months pregnant my husband and I went away for a relaxing holiday. Lycian Dreams was the perfect setting. We were happy to unwind by the pool area, which was clean, quiet and friendly. The apartment was spotless and spacious and within good distance from the lovely beach. All the staff from the hotel and adjoining restaurant were really friendly and welcoming and left us to relax, only acting if and when we needed something. Just thought we would write a review for our stay in this resort as we found this website very helpful in assisting us where to stay. As mentioned on the Lycian dreams website, Olu deniz offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday with many excusions on offer if you decide to be bit more outgoing.
