Hotel Niles Istanbul

The hotel is nice, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, you can ask them anything and they help in every way they can. One thing i will say is that our rooms were on floor 1 just above reception which was a pain bcz you could hear everything, you could hear everyone who talks in reception and everything that goes on downstairs. The hotel is located by clothes wharehouses so there is always noise throughout the night as they work through till late night. We booked a week long family trip to Istanbul, and chose the Niles Hotel based on the reviews within Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. It is a very central location with excellent transport links to anywhere in the city just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are small but very clean and well looked after, and the sunny morning breakfasts on the roof terrace looking out over the Sea of Marmara will be a treasured memory. Yes I can vouch that the reviews on this hotel are true. It well deserves its high rating. So without repeating the previous reviews a few points. There was a real and genuine care and concern for guests. There is free broadband down at reception-and not just a wireless connection. The hotel is 3 minutes from the tram-which is a doddle to use-although very crowded. The location would not appeal to some-a little grungy but if that bothers you Istanbul is probably not for you. Stayed at the Hotel Niles at the end of March 2007 for a weekend break. Hotel is well located for many local attractions including, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast room / bar is situated on the roof with views all around. The staff were excellent especially Seda at reception who's English was very good. We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Niles and would recommend it strongly.

We stayed for 6 nights after reading previous reviews. I have never been to a hotel with such helpful and friendly staff. Seda is a wonderful lady! Nothing was too much trouble for all of them and they gave excellent information. The rooms are small but very clean. There is some internal noise from the lift -ask for a room away from it-and also doors being closed and chairs scraping, but I suspect that this would be the case of all the smaller hotels. Based on the reviews on this website I picked this hotel for my stay in Istanbul (7 nights). The staff is very friendly, very helpful and all speak English better than the average Turk. The rooms are clean and nice. The breakfast is served on a lovely terrace overlooking Istanbul. There is free wifi in the hotel, which worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Hotel Niles provided a warm and sincere welcome to me and my wife during our week long stay in Istanbul. It is located more than a stone's throw off of the very well-trodden tourist path (a big plus for us) but still very close (walking distance) to all of Istanbul's remarkable sites and neighborhoods. I selected Hotel Niles based on reviews. I was very pleased with my choice as I was close to all the main sites in Istanbul. The hotel room was very clean. But more importantly, the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make sure I had everything I needed. Hotel Niles was one of the reasons my stay in Istanbul was simply outstanding.

I booked this hotel after reading the good reviews on this website. I was not dissapointed. As soon as I arrived at the hotel with my family we revieved a very warm welcome. This place is beautiful, very comfortable (it really is a mini 5 star), well situated and offers a superb breakfast with rooftop view but none of this matters compared to the amazing customer service. Just to give one example: our plane to Germany left at 5am and so we had to leave the hotel at 3am. The hotel knew that we would be missing breakfast so they packed a bag full of delicious snacks for us (free of course).
