Saratoga Hotel

Really enjoyed our stay at Saratoga. All the staff were very pleasant, despite what we had read on other reviews. The room was nice, but not quite as good as I'd expected considering we paid £495.00 for 4 nights B&B. But very clean, fresh towels, comfy beds & balcony over-looking the pool.
Pool was always clean and nice sunny area. Breakfast was plentiful and varied - everything you could want from fresh fruit to hams, cheeses, pate as well as full English material! If you could at that time of day there were also sweet cakes & pastries. The only criticism was that the hot food was not quite as hot as it should have been. Luke warm beans & scrambled egg rather that piping hot.
Overall though a lovely hotel, excellently located for walking to the Port/Harbour (10-15mins), shopping area (3 mins) and restaurants (5-10 mins).

This hotel was absolutely perfect for what we needed. 4 star means 4 star! The standard Double room we stayed in was fantastic, Jacuzzi bath, shower, balcony, mini bar, TV etc, etc! Breakfast was great, cold and hot food available, the dinner in the hotel was nicer than the restaurants we tried!
All the staff are very friendly, the 2 pools were great, especially the one on the top floor that overlooks the harbour. Rooms were cleaned daily. All the staff had a reasonable level of English so no language barriers to overcome. It is just a bus ride from Palma Airport - catch the no.1 for 2 euros each and it leaves you directly outside the hotel - taxi's tend to rip you off a bit!
The hotel is right near the harbour and close to the town and is very peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were so impressed we are going to come back. We found the best rates at Venere.com. (Plus you can search for an extra 4% discount online!).
